This is the type of MMO I have been waited on for years. I will definitely subscribe to support SV. I have fun in the game even thou not everything is done and finish. There is a new patch on monday.
Lag patch #9 will definately fix all the problems!

No patch fix all the bugs. That is basic knowledge. But hopefully they fix many bugs and maybe they patch in new things.
I laugh when I hear people complain about graphics in this game. Trying to figure out what's they're smoking when they say the graphics suck. It's Unreal 3, one of the best systems out there. The only thing I can think of when people complain about graphics is because they're system can't handle them on the highest settings. Other than that the graphics are gorgeous. And if you're trying to compare it to AoC...Failcom is still having issues with DX10.

It's nice that they make an OK video to try and shove more lies and false advertising into the MMO market, I mean they just shovel the stuff. Nothing in that video even remotely resembles the in-game experience. The game is based on a set of lies, perpetuated by false advertising and marketing such as this video. I dare anyone who thinks this video is epic to actually download and play the open beta. In fact, I will be impressed if you get past launching the client, making a char, and getting in game.

I think most people are already informed. A few others and I have tried to keep everyone up-to-date on what is REALLY going on with this game. Fans will try to attack me, call me troll, send me threatening PMs, but in the end the truth is what matters.

To be fair, the texturing work on the landscape/buildings looks like it was done by complete amateurs. Being a texture artist I was horrified that they could make the U3 engine look so terrible...

There's more to graphics than the engine. No amount of bloom, HDR lighting, motion blur and phong shading can hide bad artwork and design. Mortal Online has some horrible texture work in it, people and animals floating in the air, dodgy looking animations and awful lighting. Graphics settings have nothing to do with it; setting the graphics higher will not remove the blatant seams where textures don't match up properly, nor will it fix the weird inconsistency in the quality of textures.
Could someone please explain to me what that fire golem and that chained dragon at the very end are? Bosses? I never once saw a video of a creature of such epic proportions in an MO video, and I've seen all. Not to mention that everyone keeps saying that there are only boars and some lame creatures available as mobs. So, what's with the chained dragon?

The dragon was in the very first MO video www.youtube.com/watch near the end. Dunno bout the fire dudes. When I last played there were quite a few different mobs around.
