What MMO(s) Are You Currently Playing And How Would You Rate It(them)?

I'll start it by saying I'm currently playing Aion and I would give it an 8 due to the lack of diversity mainly.

So how about you? :)

I'm currently playing WoW and EVE.

WoW I give an 8/10. It's let down by its outdated graphics and poor 1-60 content.

    EVE I give a 9/10. It's freakin' EVE man.

Well. I WAS going to give AO a try, but seeing as though "[my] computer is too advanced to run it", all I receive is crippling lag rendering the game unplayable.

    So I give it a Banana/10.

FE. I'd give it an 8 or 9 out of 10. I love the graphics, music, open world, humor, voiceovers, crafting and whatnot. The only thing I dislike are the first person melee combat animations. But since I go only into fp-view for ranged weapons, it's not that important to me and will get fixed sooner or later anyway.

And I play MTGO. I give it a 6 of 10. If you are interested in MTG, and you haven't MTGO installed, then you are clearly doing something wrong. Why such a low score? It got quite some bugs, and it doesn't get the attention by Hasbro that it should receive, which is pretty annoying. Still, I play MTGO since 8 years, and I always had it installed on my computer. That says a lot I think. :)

Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

Let's play Guild Wars 2 (blind, 45 episodes)

At this moment I am not playing an mmo. And not even some other computergame!, I removed all my games and mmo's from my computer 2 days ago ^^ (now I have 132gb more space on my harddrive :p). I did this cause I found myself wasting too mush time playing computergames. I just have not so mush time in the comming months, so I'm taking a break. There is noting to rate here for me :p

I'm playing LotRO, atm.  I'd give it 8/10.  I have some issues with the character animations and pudding hair.  The housing also needs some love, but overall, a pretty great game.

Im currenty Playing Runescape and WoW and i give Runescape a 9.9/10 because theres always some little flaw in a game...and i give WoW a 4.5/5 because of the community,They dont help you much when your low-level..

LotR - 9/10 Outside of WoW it is the best PvE game on the market.  Great lore and Turbine has done an excellent job with continuing the evolving story line of the game.  Main drawback is that Turbine refuses to take any action to alleviate population woes which can be a deterrent for newer players if they have the misfortune of choosing one of the lesser populated servers and Turbine has put hardly any effort at all into the PvP side of things in the game.

FE - 8/10 Great company interaction with the players both in game and on their forums.  One of the most interactive companies I have seen with their customers in a long time.  When it comes to service/support within it self this company gets a 10/10.  There are much larger companies that could learn a lot from this group.  As for the game itself they have made improvements and their planned future updates are promising.  The game as a whole is a breath of fresh air compared to the majority of games out there.  Main reason for docking points is that while there have been improvements there are still a lot of bugs in the game and they have improved the clunkiness factor in relation to gameplay but it is still present.  However, they do seem to be making a large improvement in this area and according to their updates there is more refinement planned.

DDO - 7/10 An entertaining game from a PvE perspective.  What little PvP exists in this game is terrible but from a PvE basis the dungeons in this game are really a nice change of pace from the majority of what you find in other mmos due to the complexity of some and the story lines around them.  All things considered though when you take into account how long the game has been out it is still disappointing the amount of content available in the game.  There has been vast improvements made to the game over the years but when you compare what Turbine has done with LotR to DDO you get the sense that a lot more could have been accomplished with their DDO endeavour.

    1. For god's sake mmo gamers, enough with the analogies. They're unnecessary and your comparisons are terrible, dissimilar, and illogical.

    2. To posters feeling the need to state how f2p really isn't f2p: Players understand the concept. You aren't privy to some secret the rest are missing. You're embarrassing yourself.

    3. Yes, Cpt. Obvious, we're not industry experts. Now run along and let the big people use the forums for their purpose.

The only one I am playing is WoW, and when I say playing I meant once a month I log on and do something.

WoW - 3/5 - The world is interesting and I love the art style.  This game also probably has some of the best and most smooth controls of any MMO.  It is just so grindy and the lack of character customization kill my desire to play, plus I don't care much about getting epic gear.

Allods Online - 2/5 - I tried this game for a couple of days.  I hate the combat it has a delay to everything you do.  Though the world and art are interesting.  Combining the bad controls with very grindy gameplay and lack of customization and I got bored very fast.

Don't you worry little buddy. You're dealing with a man of honor. However, honor requires a higher percentage of profit

At this point in time, I'm playing Second Life, which I would rate 8/10. The people are all right, and I love the variety of things we can do on the game (especially the roleplaying segments) as well as the different stuff that I can buy (and for the first time in my Second Life history, I can say that I am extremely proud of my avatar). Only thing that really annoys me is the constant lag, which, as it turns out, I'm not the only one suffering from it.

Unfortunately, I would be playing Guild Wars if it weren't for the fact that I was recently banned for payment fraud, and I have absolutely no idea what I could have done to have brought it about. However, I've written to support, and hopefully I would get my account back again. Guild Wars is still my favourite game of all time, and I would rate it about 9/10. The only thing I don't like is the absence of meaningful crafting, hence the minus point.

I was playing Dofus recently as well, and I would give it about 8/10. The community is... okay I guess, don't really remember much about it. But I did love the classes, the entire game world, and the crafting.

Star Wars Galaxies I would give about... 5/10. I didn't really like the classes, and I was extremely confused the moment I touched down on Tatooine. I guess I'm not that good at sandbox games after all. Anyway, I didn't even talk to anyone at all the whole time I was playing, mainly because I barely even saw anyone.

    Main characters:
    Jinn Gone Quiet (Guild Wars)
    Princess Pudding (Guild Wars)

     I'm playing...

Second Life (8/10) It's not really a game though, but more of a sandbox + basic 3D design tool + interactive chatroom. No monthly fee either.

PS@Home (4/10) It's just a 3D chat room on the playstation network. There's no freedom to build stuff like in Second Life, people are unbelievably rude, and it's over-saturated with commercialism and in-game ads. The only reason I use it is there is no monthly fee and I have a few friends that I hangout with in it between playing ACTUAL games. No monthly fee.

Guild Wars (8/10) It's not exactly an MMO but ironically I've spent more time grouping with people in Guild Wars than in any MMORPG I've played in the past. For a game that lacks any kind of roleplay, they've done an amazing job with the detail they put into the races, kingdoms, the missions, etc. I'm looking forward to GW2.

I'm playing nothing and I rate it a 7, which is higher than I rated the last few games I played.

EQ1, EQ2, SWG, SWTOR, GW, GW2 CoH, CoV, FFXI, WoW, CO, War,TSW and a slew of free trials and beta tests

Decent graphics, fun gameplay, fun ship and character customization, and a fun skill system. The game is shallow when it comes to things to do, and is repetitive. However, I could say the same thing about Mount & Blade, yet I played it for several weeks due to the fun combat system. It's the same reason I keep playing STO.

As of right now im playing wow again, after quitting a few times before, this time i'm trying to get to 80 so i can see what all the buzz is about. So far this is the most fun i've had in probably the entire year but then again im playing with RL friends so that could be a factor too but ye i've been enjoying myself quite a bit and hopefully i'll be able to get to 80 this week. My rating would be 9/10, lost marks because of bad community.

Eve, 9.5/10 .. i've been playing since feb 2004  i could say its the graphics, which are pretty amazing, or its the ships and the 3d environment. but mostly i would have to say its the wars, its exciting, it has consequences, and every player counts!

WoW, 7/10 its a fun game, and after playing Eve sometimes you need to wind down a bit

SWG Emu.. 7/10 will be a 10/10 soon, but its lacking a lot of what made Pre-CU so great.. Thinking about loging back into EVE though.. I need me a really good sandbox.

EVE is always a 9.5/10 in my book.. great game

played darkfall for the last year.. 7/10 to start.. right now it is about a 4/10 at best.. because sieges don't work.

LotRO: 8/10: Graphics are great, community is excellent. Gameplay and story are fun. But i just can't seem to get into it, i resubbed like 6 days ago and at first i couldn't wait to log in and now i'm like meh, i'm gonna go play some Counter Strike.

EVE: 9.5/10: Not playing right now thinking of resubbing. Played a year ago the only problem i had was how hard it is to get a start, but once you get past that it's a great, well rounded game.

    Fallen Earth - 9/10

i like the graphics, the crafting, the world etc etc etc - so much to do and see - and just so darn fun to play

might have been a 10 but there are bugs of course and my current decent computer does struggle to run it - got a new one on the way though (ATI Radeon HD 5870  with a 3.4GHz Phenom II, whoohoo)

    DDO - 8/10

good looking game and the dungeons all seem unique - nice going

Everquest 2     9/10 for content.        Visuals getting dated though brings it down to 7.5

Was playing EQ2 free trial till yesterday.  Would give it a 6/10.  It felt like the "same old" as I've felt in every other game.  I tried making different characters but in the end the animations didn't feel really fluid, and the game overall felt a bit rigid.  That and I've also come to a conclusion that I could never give SOE my money.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-
