Interesting preview. The only thing that concerns me is the comment "my health bar barely moved." I've seen that in many gameplay videos where the player slaughters many enemies and barely loses any health. I hope this game isn't made too super easy. STO was made easy in BETA because of people crying on the internet about it being too hard. Let's not turn this into another easy mode game. Let's have some challenge and suspense.

    Currently Playing: World of Warcraft

I'd like a challenge as well, but do keep in mind these character were only level 4-6 (level cap is at least 50) and were decked out in the best stuff available for that level.

Feel free to use my referral link for SW:TOR if you want to test out the game. You'll get some special unlocks!

The difficulty may have been turned down too to give players a chance to actually do stuff without having to worry about dying all the time.

Being very easy certainly didnt bode well for STO.  I recall that lack of game-play challenge, the impression that one was actually battling but didn't risk losing, the absence of a death penalty, the "pause" buttons, the "i'm invincible" feel in STO, and the repeated dumbfounded inquiries about why it felt so easily arcade-ish and shallow, due to the easy cruise-control nature.

t was one of many mmorpg design mishaps that left it in the halls of another niche game.  I hope SWTOR doesnt make the same mistakes.
