Planet Offer City layouts

Has the dev team or anyone else made mention to bringing over the planet offer's city layouts to the solo-play mode?  The solo-play is very limited unlike the planet offer layouts.

 

Also, has there been any mention of being able to trade with out other cities in solo-play?  That would kick ass, managing a couple of cities specialized to certain products.
