Good. Glad it was handled swiftly. That's all i care to think about since it was GM fault that lead to a terrible in-game experience for a player. Now whether the consequences fit the mishap for the GM, whats important is the communities expectations of studio responsiveness to their product and it's intended game-play environment.
We dont know whether this was a first-offense or whether the GM had been careless in the past, but Aventurine is running a business where they have been active on securing and ensuring a stable game-play environment to the best of their ability, as far as I can tell.
What I think is jus hilarious is that where everyone was going berzerk and crying "CORRUPTION, ZOMG UNSUB NOWZ!!!" over this incident... everyone is now flipping right the hell out over how unfair it is that the GM in question was removed.
Yet you've gotta wonder... would the player have gotten anything other than a "too bad, so sad" from Adventurine had it not blown up like it did? We can only wonder.
I do think it was a bit harsh to pull the GM. They should have just made it right by the player, saw to it the GM learned his toolset, apologized to the board, requested that the player post that his issue was rectified, and moved on.

I don't like how they handled the GM, still, do we really need another thread on this? =P
