I very much enjoyed reading the article. It had a genuine feeling surrounding it.
Oh, and I agree with the ending Even though many players are just plain tired of the "fantasy" setting by now, I predict TERA will still make an impressive impact next year when so many other releases will be heavily sci-fi.
I must say I'm still into the fantasy genre and watch with pain as the western audience is going towards the sci-fi more and more nowadays.
now: GW2 (11 80s). Dark Souls 2. future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord. "Bro, do your even fractal?" Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
Thanks for the link. Info about this game is much appreciated!
And also thank you to Kenaoshi for the ZAM interview - that was very nice to see as well, very informative.
Articles that give general impressions of a game are good to read. I think they're worth far more than any cinematic and marketing-controlled press conferences.
The article had a nice description of the combat. I rather liked that there is only one armor slot for entire sets but customization of it is still planned. They obviously to make sure every character in the game keeps looking as good as the setting itself, and that's a plus for the game IMO.
The lore sounds interesting too. They've come up with an amusing rationalization for the spawning of mobs out of thin air.
The video was full of interesting info as well. The combat system is intriguing me more even though I'm hesitant about a MMO trying for an FPS-style of game play. I haven't found a MMO that did it well yet, but the mechanic is evolving. Perhaps Tera will be the game to get it right.

The more little tidbits like this I see... the more intrigued I become by this game...
I'm looking forward to the lack of auto-target... also the parrying/dodge mechanic being teased will make for some fun PvP.
Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.
