MMORPG with nice summons/pets system

Which is the mmorpg with the best summon/pet system?

Since I started play MMORPGs I always liked the summoner via, I've play summoner in FFXI, Warlock on WoW and Phantom Summoner in L2. Now yesterday I was looking to come back to L2 with my PS55 but I forgot the exp problem (have to kill like 1200 monsters for leveling to 56 and raising a lot after 60s.....so no thx, I dont have a life to spend on it).

So basically I'm looking for a mmorpg where I can play a summoner job or sorta, even pets works fine. Nice graphics is a plus, but not essential, I'd like a variety of summons/pets to choose from.

Any idea?

Allods has 2 pet classes: Summoner (like a cross between a necromancer and a warlock from WoW) and Warden (sort of like a druid with a pet).  Unfortunately the Empire side Warden has an extremely ugly pet at present (a goblin with a cigarette hanging out its mouth), although I read somewhere that it might be changed back to a wolf or boar according to gender of Orc, as it was previously.  Fingers crossed that happens because whilst I enjoy the Warden, I can't stand the goblin pet.

Basically its Shin Megami Tensei: Imagine online. really big on the whole summons/pets system

Champions Online has a fair amount of summons/pets you can have in a large variety depending on how you build your character. If you want variety this is the game to check out for sure.

City of Heroes/Villains has some fun pet classes.

DAoC although older now has some fun pet classes.

AC2 had some really fun pet classes. *sniffle* RIP AC2. *sniffle*

The Chronicles of Spellborn has a decent pet class as well as very fun combat system and of course it's free.

as for pet game,

 

allod sucked, well for me lmao.

Age of Conan necromancer are ok.

Champion Online is crap hand down.

DaoC Bone dancer/necro/animist are fun to play.

Everquest 1 and 2 were ok as well.

 

The game, I'm beta testing right now ( Mortal Online) is "susposed" to have one of the most complete pet system so I'm waiting on it. The taming is alrdy fun and youre susposed to be able to tame multiple pet and equip them lol.

Vanguard has the best pet classes of any game I have seen. It also allows for some classes to summon.

Pets in Vanguard have very advanced AI, and controls; my bird pet has 10 commands!

Also, their pathing is excellent, they never get stuck or run after stuff wildly. The necro has a very tough pet, and can also resurrect dead bodies as minions.
