    I don't think this is the type of game you are going to want to run around in by yourself. And it also is likely not the kind of game you are going to be able to type to communicate in. So the VOIP is a godsend, even if it is occasionally abused by bored teenageers.

    If not by release, I'm assuming at some point due to popular demand.. there will be an off function or a mute function for certain players if they are bothering you.  That's really the only reason I could imagine it being a serious problem.


     


    I think most clans/crews will still be using teamspeak or ventrilo anyways.  VOIP is always a nice idea for pugs and running around with a random buddy, but for larger groups.. better programs are almost always used instead.

    What im a little scared about is that this 12 year old's that are going to be playing the game are going to ruin the "spirit" of them game for me anyway, since their baby voice (yeah i call it that) will sound nothing like their chars are looking, so you will have this Buff police guy with this tiny voice from a 12 year old... but i can live with it i guess when the game is this cool :)
