     image  I just started a facebook account last month, so Im one of the millions that never signed up till last month.    Oh by the way SWG is a top 10 seller on Steam.

    The only way SWG becomes a "Top Seller" on STEAM is when they offer new goodies for buying it there and the only people who seem to purchase it are current subscribers who are so content deprived that they think a new vehicle counts as an 'expansion'.

    When exactly was it a "Top Seller"??? It most certainly isn't there now http://store.steampowered.com/   <--- link.

    im actually surprised that people still are buying this game, even in its present state - which is far better than when the NGE was first introduced, its such a far cry from how it used to be - there are still unresolved issues with the game, the NGE was a poorly adapted bolt-on, and a lot of it still shows with the char movements particularly in combat. tbh, im more than a little surprised that the game is even still there, if it had been an EA title it would have been canned by now, i really dont know whether its a case of SOE not wanting to annoy the remaining fans any more than they already have by closing the game, or if it would have been too much loss of face for the instigators of the changes in the first place..

    I miss the MMORPG genre. Will a developer ever make one again?

       Its due to SOEs guerilla marketing with Bobbleheads and  Connectding station cash that has forces SOE fans to Facebook from Myspace.  SOE killed the SWG Myspace group.  Now the choir is set for SOE Facebook games like Pox Nora and future wallet fleecers.

    What is so sad about that is, you're probably right - there must be some fear that the truth will hurt them?!

    I promise you, if I were playing SWG still, I could easily find 100 things I LOVE about the game without having to lie once. I would promote what "I" enjoy about SWG...not lie about how well it's doing or how poorly it's selling. Despite all the glaring errors and bugs, there ARE redeeming qualities of the game that would appeal to others...but to lie about it being in a STEAM top 10?!? What possible gain is there from that when it's so pathetically easy to verify? Am I missing something?

    Well, all honesty, SWG has had the honor of making the top 10 of some, err... current lists, but being a Steam Top 10 seller wasn't one of them. image
