LF 2/2.5/3D game with crafting. F2P or P2P.

So I've played just about every major P2P 3D game there is and I've played them to death. So I want a change of pace and I was thinking 2D or 2.5D. Now I do have somethings im looking for so I'll list them off.

  • Crafting: It must to some extent have crafting. Whether it is simple or very complex doesn't bother me, just as long as it is existant.

  • PvP: It doesn't have to be huge or complex, just so long, again, as it is existant and I can enjoy it.

  • Player Housing: Perks like these are definately a HUGE plus but not required.

  • Smooth leveling: I don't want to hit level 10 and feel like 11 is impossible to reach. As I realize most 2 or 2.5D games are grind fests I just want one that is smooth and enjoyable. I dont want to feel like I'm working while I'm playing a game.

  • "Epic" look: Anyone who's played Helbreath knows what I'm talking about. I don't want to just be all-powerful, I want to look it. Whether it's by wielding a huge 2H mace or even a cool 2D sword graphic, I want different looks, and I want to feel as powerful as I am. (Sounds stupid, but I feel it's the look that makes you enjoy games to an extent.)

Thats really all I have for requirements, as anything else isn't too important. Some games I have played that I'll mention are:

Runescape - Fine, but I can't help but hate the 3D graphics and some of the systems (such as the rune/magic) annoy me.

First Star Online - Great game, but as far as I know it's dead. This will make a great example of what I like though as it had everything I'm looking for.

Ragnarok Online - Lacks the crafting I want although is a great game despite that.

Helbreath - Lacks crafting again. Other than that it is a good game.

MU Online - (Read Helbreath)

Eve - Best 3D example of what I want. Hate trying to find my way around as well as how annoying it is not being able to catch up to other players in skill points.

I've of course played many more games but I can't remember many of them. As far as 3D goes I've played WoW, Aion, GW, R.O.S.E., Eve, Galactic Agenda, Fallen Earth, Dragonica, and quite a few others (many I can't remember). I've also played the trial for alot of other games including LotRO and just didn't enjoy it. Again I will look at 3D games but I feel if it's 3D, the graphics should go all the way to match the awesomeness.

Thank you everyone for your time.

It's still in beta but it's worth trying to get in, it's an amazing game.

    Linkrealms.

Note: even if you're not in beta you can still use the Linkrealms Map Editor to design your own realms which can eventually be uploaded for use in the game.
