So,
What is the point of taking or even holding keeps, nothing right? So what if they just spiced it up a little bit? Try adding some content driven motives. You perform some sort of PVE event that triggers a PVP event. The player(s) must report to X number of Keeps to speak to individuals about this or that. Oh and you most likely do not own all of them. End all be all is you receive Items or access to special content upon the completion. Keep in mind no matter how it is triggered the trigger works both ways, one for taking the keeps, and the other in defense of them. Do you have to do anything? Not at all, but do you want to just let them have it either? Then you also make it a timed event. Once triggered you have x amount of time for the trigger man to complete the tasks. Partial completion gives partial rewards. Total victory gives total rewards. How about after you successfully complete the task you gain access to a specific piece of content for X amount of time. The time starts by another trigger the players’ control. So they can assemble their troops....ect.
It is repeatable and multiple people can complete the tasks during one event cycle. It can become a guild event, or several guilds. Make it enjoyable for everyone to participate. Hell who knows maybe I just need to get back to work. I have not played the game in a year anyway. I had high hopes for it though.
