IGG Announces New 3D MMORPG: Moonlight Online
IGG reveals plans to launch a new MMORPG titled Moonlight Online. Embracing a supernatural theme with enigmatic vampires at its core, the game is scheduled for international release at the end of 2010.
A massive 3D MMORPG that will take advantage of a cutting-edge game engine, Moonlight Online will allow gamers to show off their creativity using its unique features. Players will be able to choose from an impressive range of superpower abilities. The demolition and creation of entire worlds will lie in gamers’ hands, giving Moonlight Online an epic scope that hinges on their every decision and action.
Moonlight Online will bestow upon characters gravity-defying abilities such as flight, scaling vertical cliffs, or leaping from one skyscraper to another. Devastating wars between Vampires and Werewolves will lend the game a haunting and surreal feel, and an entire apocalyptic universe will be ripe for exploration. One feature in the game that strategy enthusiasts will find intriguing will be the power to build and destroy empires among the war-torn worlds, helping to make Moonlight Online a versatile game that should appeal to a wide variety of gamers.
In the months ahead, IGG will reveal more details and offer sneak peeks into the supernatural
universe of Moonlight Online, so stay tuned to the latest news and updates.

Love press releases, every game looks like heaven when they are announced because of the word choices and broad concepts
Sounds interesting. But it has too, right :P?
Suppose ill just need to wait and see some screenshots or trailers.

Looking at their existing game lineup, this isn't something I'm eagerly anticipating.
so...
Oh dear. Y'know... maybe the epic levels of fail in both IGG and Moonlight will both combine, causing a massive quantum instability flux and the resulting WTF field will transform it into something awesome?
.....nah, I don't expect so, either.
Yeah...cartoony anime vampires & werewolves? Not so much, thanks.

Maybe MMO is not your genre, go play Modern Warfare...or something you can be all twitchy...and rank up all night. This is seriously getting tired. -Ranyr
I'll wait for World of Darkness.
well somebody has to follow the coat tails of the twilight fad kinda like a vampire itself bleeds unsuspecting women and emotional men of all their hard earned cash
The idea of a supernatural MMO is great. But when IGG will publish it, we know the game most likely is a load of crap
LOL! I thought the exact same thing!

If the vampires in this are vegetarians who don't burst into flames and die horribly when in sunlight, then no thank you. Seriously, thanks to shit like Twilight, we now have an entire generation of kids who think vampires 'sparkle'.
It makes me sad.
Not to mention that IGG (IMO) doesn't have a single decent game to its credit.
I'm seeing shiny space boots and shoulder pads bigger than my head in my werewolf's future... :P
How do they get the money and sucker some investor with an idea like this...given their track record....why can't I find this kinda money to bankroll my own game.... /facepalm just don't understand it...

A shallow concept, with a shallow model, with a shallow company, i hope at least it drag all the casuals out of my bloody murderer adventures
now: GW2 (11 80s).
Dark Souls 2.
future: Mount&Blade 2 BannerLord.
"Bro, do your even fractal?"
Recommends: Guild Wars 2, Dark Souls, Mount&Blade: Warband, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.
It might be okay if they pattern it after "The Masquerade" game series...maybe...LOL!!!
Me being a supernatural fan with things like werewolves and vampires, I can't help but find it attractive... even if I know it will most likely suck (no pun intended) ...
The tittle looks like a rip-off of these new twilight stuff along with a cartoony look. Personally I hate twilight and hope they dont end up taking that approach.
When I saw the title I thought it was based on the Moonlight tv show that was canceled a couple of years ago. It wasnt totally awesome, but I thought it was pretty good. It was the story of a vampire that worked as a private investigator. I was sorry when they canceled it.
And yeah, after going through the other IGG games, Im not excited about this game either.
If you stand VERY still, and close your eyes, after a minute you can actually FEEL the universe revolving around PvP.
I read "IGG has announced..." and immediately stopped reading.
If there is one thing that stops me from even trying out a game, then it is shallow companies who keep putting out as many crappy games as possible to make as much profit as possible. Just look at their current list of games.
Not to get off-topic, but any idea as to why the show was canceled?, That show was impressive but it didn't featured Werewolves so I just figured it couldn't be based on it.
I think it was because the show, even though it did well, it didnt do as well as other CBS shows, so they canceled it. The bastards.

Supernatural is going to be the new setting of choice. Supernatural books/tv shows are still on a rise and can make the companies a TON of money if done right. I thought companies might start making a lot more Sci-Fi MMOs since the fantasy genre seems to be getting way over cluttered in online games. Hopefully the stuff will be fresh Sounds like it by some of the descriptions.

"Traditionally, massively multiplier online games have been about three basic gameplay pillars combat, exploration and character progression. In Alganon, in addition to these we've added the fourth pillar to the equation: Copy & Paste."
LMAO!
You tell me of a game that is in 3D with a "cutting edge" engine, being built for less than a year if it has a shot at being anything but mediocre?
This has to be a prank,,, or a feeler as to whether or not gamers will be receptive to this concept.
If anything, White Wolf universe is far far more the better choice in making a vampire/werewolf/supernatural MMO.
Let's see how this FTP pos goes.
Boycott it! It's a commie game!
LOL.
Sorry.
This company owns IGG http://investing.businessweek.com/research/stocks/private/snapshot.asp?privcapId=39795216
Sky Union. I was going to say Korean FTP... But after seeing IGG website, I wasn't far from the mark. Does this mean we can play with the gold farmers and RMT in a happy and cozy environment?
I love when we complain in the West that we're drowning in MMOs. Poor Asia. It seems like two new mechanically and artistically identical MMOs every week.
Feels like IGG announces a new MMO every week.
