Not worth the money if you ask me...

So you stand in Dome City(Orgrimmar) all day and que for instanced PvP matches and PvE matches(Random Heroics)?

Oh, let's not forget that crafting is there, but then again, I'm not to sure if that's any fun.(If someone could tell me about it?)

The only difference is the twitch based combat, and even then, I might as well play TF2... not worth the money imo?

How about you? What do you think, is it worth it?

I do not think anyone asked you.

Regardless, you do not have to pay for the subscription to play the game, just the box price, and while the trial is limited in scope, it gives a person a bit of a taste of what the rest of the game is like.

Basing an entire game off of a free trial or demo is counter productive, if you find the demo/trial uninteresting then move on.

I think the biggest problem is people expecting a WoW type mmo experience when that was never intended. But i leave the blame for this misconception on HiRez doorstep, they never should have bandied about the term MMO for this game. It should have been called a Tactical shooter or something else along those lines.

Anyhow, GA has alot more then MW2/BBC2, just MW2/BBC2 has more maps atm, something that will be remedied shortly.

I see your a wow kiddie. This is not Wow and it doesn't claim to be Wow. and its a million times better then wow could ever hope to be. If you don't like it don't play it. Its a simple as that.

I'm not a WoW kiddie and I don't think its worth the money either. I feel even at 30$ (if you buy it in the 4-pack) is still over priced for the very limited gameplay GA offers. The fact that they plan to charge a subcription to access some of their extremely limited features is just a joke. There are better done 1 time purchase games that offer comparable pvp, and as I've stated in the past, a map is not a persistant world.

The game can be fun, it sports some good graphics, but I'm bored with it if I play more then an hour.  There is little diversity and some big balance issues that need to be addressed.  The only feature I see in this game is jet packs, you cant take a watered down Multiplayer FPS, make a couple of repetative maps and add one feature (jet packs) and charge full price and a subscription fee.

I'd also like to add, the tutorial is quite boring and I almost quit before I even played the game b/c of it. You can skip it of course, but if you choose not too, you run around for 20 minutes with about 2 minutes of useful instruction.

Also a reason it isn't worth it, and yes I played WoW, but I'am by no means a WoW kiddie...

Personally, I like the game. It's like a futuristic TF2, only slightly more persistent. I'm not sure if it's worth $40 yet, I'll wait till the 1.3 patch comes out to see.

I wish that this game was more like Planetside, I really miss playing that game; too bad SOE completely ruined it.

There are way too many references to this game as being too TF2-like when i first heard about it and the extra $15/month for the added content for it to be appealing.  For the same reason why CrimeCraft was not enough mmorpg-like, but a lobby system tps, is why I wouldnt jump into a tps...its not what Im looking for.

Striving for Silver Stars since Gold is so effeminate.

It's what SOE does best, I cant think of a game they haven't ruined. I'm pretty sure they can't get into heaven after what they did to SWG.

It has INFLUANCES of TF@, also Tribes, Mechworrior, and planetside, play longer than level 5 and you will see this. Also, the optional subscription IS NOT 15$!  Stop saying that. It's wrong.

Comparing Global agenda to Crimcraft is like comparing a Porsche (GA) to a Station wagon (Crimecraft) in temrs of fun, stability, and polish.

Well i bought the game, and i regret it..

At first it appeared fine, but once you see its nothing but :

    - A dome city where you chat, shop, meet, etc etc (a glorifyed forum/chat)

    - A series of PVE maps, not ewen random generated as seen in Anarchy online also sci-fi theme.

    - A series of AVA conquest maps, as above! ^^

    - A series of PVP maps, as above! ^^

    - All unlocked at lvl 30ish, except armor + helmet which is cosmetics.

    - No costumization besides "social armor + helmet" and then dye's for it all.

    - Preset weapons and skills for all, nothing special, ALL ARE THE SAME! YOU ARE NOT UNIQUE!

    ---------------------- THATS ALL!

No world, no exploration, when you learn your way around there is nothing new..

    ON THE PLUS SIDE

+ without a subscription, i can still play normal PVE and PVP.

+ its working, there are no major erros as seen in many other new releases.

    RECOMDATION

Buy a normal shooter instead, i wont mention names, cause it will just feed the trolls and

whiners which have allready shown their face in this thread..

    ------
Playing MMO's since my first which was Ultima online, then Anarchy online. and so on.. ;)
Now a days im very critical before i ewen bother downloading a Free to play mmo.

They are funny with their trial.. which doesn't let you access the part of the game that people might consider worth subbing for, the conquest stuff.. assuming that's any good.

Well I think it is worth the money, just right now don't expect an MMORPG. We'll see if it's worth the subscription fee after sandstorm releases.

For what it is right now...I think its definatly worth the 39.99 that STEAM is selling the game for.

If you liked the Team Fortress game style...then you will really like this game.  I am enjoying this game alot.  However...I have great expectations for 1.3...to really turn this game into one that has long-term staying power.

For just the box price i think it is worth it. You can get a lot of hours out of it with the different classes, trying out different specs on those classes.

The MMO side of it isn't too steep but only really benefits players who want to be in agencies for AvA. Luckily the sub hasn't kicked in yet.

1.3 changes alot of that with open world PvE and maybe make it something i'd subscribe for just depends what they put in there. Just have to see but they are trying different things with the game to make it fun.
