Is thie the actual date?? Funcom have not yet revealed an date official.

Seeing as its 1st of April, im not trusting anything or anyone!
I dont think Funcom have given a definite release date yet If it is not that date then it will be around that time.

You guys totally inexperienced or what? Many stores publish dates for upcoming games (remember Amazon and Duke Nukem Forever?) just to get a nice wave of preorders. Who knows how many stores already have a release date for Cataclysm!
But to make a THREAD about this... jees, AoC fanatics are really getting desperate just to draw a couple of more players in...
This is wonderful news! Though it may be wrong because most likely ROTGS will be digitaly released instead of box sales, but maybe they will do the box thing to hype up retailers and get more people!
Oh! the joy, if it is so close they would probably release the game before lifting NDA! so we wouldn't be spoiled with all the new stuff! Funcom turned around and age of conan has improved so there is no way they would release the expansion with stuff missing or not working properly as they cut that out at release so it is probably perfect now and they have probably just been polishing and testing every detail for a few months.
Oh! I can't wait to buy it, if this comes out on May 15th I might as well skip getting super street fighter 4 on April 27 because I won't have time to play.
Now the only question will be is AoC ROTGS an amazing game or the best game ever? I guess we will just have to wait, I hope the developers release more showings to the media that realy helped me know what I was buying the first time, great demos like this one before AoC's release http://www.metacafe.com/watch/977349/siege_in_age_of_conan/ will realy bring the masses back and probably kill WoW.

recognition of an impairment loss of around
3,1 MUSD for Age of Conan due to a decrease in

Why people even bother with expansion release date ?
Dont be one of those guys that resubscribe the game cause expansion is "coming soon" ... just wait and resub ( if you are interested in aoc exp. ) when its out for minimum of 7 days, by then you will get shitload of info how good or bad it is.
If you are patient wait for at least a month after release as i doubt it will take much longer to get reports about 99% of the added pve content.
My wish is that expansion is released asap so they can start dealing with other major problems game have like server side lags in mass pvp and siege crashes. ( as far as i know this mainly happens on Fury EU due over population as for other servers they are runing much smoother )
Speculation wise expansion should be out in May and if that deadline is missed then they should wait till september/October.
Selling games during summer/vacation time is bad move.
We have quite few members in beta and so for things looks really great: new zones and PvE stuff.
The new alternate advancement and perk system loook great but our guys could not really test it yet. ( it takes time to get that )

I disagree strongly, well maybe English isn't your primary language, being from Norway, but you just stated is Funcom is trying to rip people off in the affirmative and Funcom would never do such a thing. No way, at around 40 USD or 30 EU this is a steal of a game. I hope they sell a collectors edition for 70 EU or 100 USA at least for me.
Anyway, unlike the original game that was discounted AKA bargin bin two months after release for $20 or less and now is $5 or less, this expansion will probably be so amazing the price goes up after release! The expansion is just the introductory price and then you get to pay a low monthly rate to keep up with the improvements, it's fun as it starts out awesome and keeps getting better.
Reports from the testers are looking good and make me cranked so IKshadow is right on about the new AA trees looking good for a few classes, like this tester replying that AoC will be out in 44 days http://forums.ageofconan.com/showpost.php?p=2684343&postcount=4 so get hyped! As it looks like the game is ready.

Making a stab at irony today I see? Well, seeing as it is for sale on play.com and not funcom.com, wouldn't that be play.com trying to rip people off..? It's a pre-order: as in "we believe we might be understocked on this item when it comes out, if you want to make sure you get it, get in line".
Eh to bad I cant post all AA trees here, some people like it some dont.
Basically its like when people complained about Skill tree's how some classes suck and how some have way better ones.
The link you gave was one guy QQ about it at RoTGS open beta you will find more people crying about it
p.s. If they are smart they will make client free of charge at expanion so all you need is free trial + sub if you want to play it. ( same model as Eve Online have and also WAR switch to it. )
