Darkfall: Update Adds Teleportation Chambers, Deployable Strongboxes

The update including the recently announced Teleportation Chambers and Deployable Strongboxes features is now live.

As we previously reported, Teleportation Chambers will allow players to build teleport exits and entrances in clan cities and hamlets. Both the entrance and exit destination must be owned by said clan, enemies and non-clan members can utilize the portals as well, but will have to pay extra "Portal Shards," which will drop off monsters in the world. Clan members will pay one shard, while non-clan members will pay two, and members of a clan currently at war with the clan owning the portal will pay three shards. The portals will have three levels of upgradability, with each adding additional health to the portal as well as lowering its cooldown time. Portals can be destroyed like any other clan or hamlet structure.

Deployable Strongboxes are also part of this latest update. These strongboxes are basically deployable banks that can be dropped almost anywhere in the world. Three types of strongboxes have been added: personal, party, and clan, with the functional differences being pretty obvious. Each level of strongbox has additional HP, but all strongbox versions will only remain in the world for two hours at a time. The strongbox can be destroyed using a number of siege weapons (not siege hammers though!) and can be subsequently looted as a result.

    Whats the Mats costs for Strongboxes and are they tradeable ??

    strongboxes can only be deployed once.

    Before deploying them I'm 99.9% certain they can be traded.

    After deployment the rights are bound to the one who deployed it. The people who can access it depend on the type of strongbox (i.e. personal/party/clan)
