The good thing is: patch 5.4 is nothing short of a revolution for MMORPG's.

Pfff.... you might as well call it the end of single realm play in MMORPG's.
The sad thing is: I am into my neck in playing hardcore Diablo 3 on PC...
And I still have 3 classes to go to down Diablo Inferno in hardcore mode,... at even one month per class (without deaths) I think I'll just wait for the next expansion then.
In the meantime: to those having time to play patch 5.4: be aware you are part of history... as the cross server realm play is even MORE important than all previous patches combined for MMORPG's in the future.
