yea, in fact i means that, it's a called a free game but if you really play in it you will find it costs much more than a game which you have to pay for it like WoW, Aion etc. And in WoW, you just need pay for the CD-Key, Monthcard and enjoy it. You can get what you want in game with your hard work. But in a game like isro, you will find it's really takes you more money than the premium itself... Yeah, it's free but it costs more xD
Nah .. i play DDO for a while and I have yet to pay a cent.
Plus, there are research report (posted here a while back) showing that MOST players don't pay a dime. So yeah it is truly free for them.

I've played many F2P MMORPGs. Never paid. So yes, they're really free.
If you want to argue that the quality of these games is terrible without paying, you might have a case. But you can't argue that they're not free.
