Can someone explain the whole Hero lvls and concept

I am wondering if anybody has any clue about the Hero stage of the game since iv seen little info about this

    Hard to get and only available to certain Race/Class combinations (ie Night Elf Hunter will be able to Hero Class into Demon Hunter).  That is all I really know, Blizzard is being sorta tight lipped about it.

    Kinda  weird since retail is very soon to be hush hush about this since that should be a big atraction of the game

    I think they are waiting a bit to introduce hero classes so those hardcore power gamers cant get there in another week after they hit 60. This way alot of people, casual and hardcore alike, will be on somewhat even grounds.
