LF F2P worth playing

I quit my most recent MMO (aion) some time back and after trying some f2p i still havn't found a decent one. I am open to sci fi, fantasy, etc. I value balance and gameplay over all else although some shiny graphics are a plus. Anyone got any ideas? Im hoping to find a nice f2p thats not cash shop to win or item mall to win..

    Allods, Runes of Magic, Aika, Earth Eternal and DDO...

     

    I wouldn't bother trying anything else, if one of those don't do it for you, I doubt you'll find one.

     

    Of note, Atlantica is good, but is definitely pay to win.

    Well, Bobfish covered that pretty well. Granted you can play Atlantica and enjoy it very much without paying a cent. Same goes for the other games. However, in games like Runes of Magic to get the top stats on equipment you may almost have to get some stuff off the item shop, granted you can buy the items from other players.

    i tried runes of magic some time ago. is it possible to compete in that game for a little money in the item shop or is it really expensive?

    I was totally looking at atlantica as a possible game to try until i read about the item shop.

    Im just a typical unemployed american, lucky enough to have internet, definitely can't drop a couple hundred dollars to get some item to +10.

    I'm currently downloading a trial of Ryzom just because it looks like something unique, but if anyone has anything else i should take a look at let me know.
