What MMO to play?

So I just had my appendix removed this weekend, nasty little bugger.

I've got lots of spare time at the moment and would loooove to get back into any MMO. Costs and whatever don't matter.

I've played:

WoW

Tibia

EQ1

EQ2

SWG

EVE

LOTRO(beta)

Darkfall

Vanguard

CoH/CoV

and good lord the list can go on

 

I've just recently quit WoW for the 40th time (really need a new mmo to get addicted to)

I've just started EQ2 and got about 4 chars to 20 and are sort of burning out already on the levellin and pvp

I need a game with good pve and pvp, and community... I was thinking Eve, I had an account with i think 2.5 mil SP? Would I be so behind and is the time to skill thing really hindering to having fun sicne so many have 50 mil sp+?

I love PvE, PvP, Hardcore PvP, etc...

Need suggestions from ya'll.. Gonna lose my mind :O And don't feel like re-subbing to WoW before cataclysm oh god..

Don't mean to be rude but if your doing the same content over and over on 4 different chracters, anyone would be bored really. Also lvl 20 isn't really that far in at all, some people i know have got to 35 on a weekend playing casually. IMO i would give EQ2 another try and stick to one character but if you really don't like it i say EVE is always good, yes you will always be behind the vets but that shouldn't stop you as a lot is based on your actual skill and intelligence.

Final Fantasy XI. It's lacking PVP, but has some of the best group PVE, more options for endgame than any other themepark MMO I know of, and a great community.

Yeah that makes sense, could easily be the reason why I'm blah on it.

How about Fallen Earth ? It has good pve and it just recently got some pvp I believe.

Try a game that is all about online fantasy gaming.

OP, you're suffering from burn out, imo.

Burn out is natures way of getting us to try new things.

Don't play MMOs for a time, the longer you stay away the better it will be when you return.

when im bored of mmo's i just play more Battlefield (2 and BC2) and civilization 4.

or just play Vampire the Masquerade Redemption or Bloodlines and and w8 til WoDO comes out

I would suggest this DAoC Was in a similar place as you not long ago till I finally decided to give this game a try. Now I'm all excited again and having loads of fun. For a better review you can check out my post here .

No, EVE really doesn't work like that. You can play and have fun and do stuff with low SP. Having more SP really just gives you more options.
