Diablo style MMO
Hello,
I have been looking for a fun Diablo style MMO because I have lost my Diablo 2 disc due to moving after my wife and I got married. So does anyone have any suggestions fo rme? I have tried Cabal and it is sort of like Diablo 2 but too many hackers/botters and what not. It was also too grindy. I would just love a good hack and slash mmo with over the top view and click to kill etc. I would like it to be F2P.. Please help.

yes it is closed beta but i know many people that just sign up for a account on perfect world site and they can log in and play
Guild Wars is the closest thing to Diablo.

I heard it wasn't that much like Diablo 2 only advertise to be like it.

I have played guild wars and game play wise it is nothing like diablo.. It isn't over the top it isn't point and click and click to kill.. It is just a highly instanced for the lack of a better word WoW clone.

Battle of Immortals is your best bet. Nothing else is close to it.
You missed out on Dungeon Runners. Diablo clone through and through, and quite fun. Torchlight MMO is coming out, and its a diablo clone. You may want to look into the single player version. Its 20 bucks.
Try out DDO.
Have a look at Warrior Epic, its not amazing by any stretch of the imagination but it's not to bad either. Over the top view, hack and slash and a lobby system just like D2. Also Mytheon may be worth having a look at to, don't know wether it's in open beta now or not. Made by the same company I belive. Apart from Battle of the Imortals they are the only two I can think of atm. Oh! apart from Red Stone but that was prity pants if I remeber correctly. Gl op:)
Well BOI of you wanna play PW but with 2.5D graphics (I don't wana use the word ,but is suits it ,clone ), and if u want something else try Eudemons Online,Conquer Online ,Warlords Online,Crazy Tao Online they're all 2.5D and might be what u're looking for .
Oh and they're all mmorpgs not mmos .
Thanks for the recommendations, if there are any others you would liek to recommend let me know. BTW DDO isn't what I'm looking for at all I currently play it from time to time but yea it isn't Diablo like at all. If anyone has any other suggestions let me know. But yea a 2.5 D game with hack and slash mindless fun gameplay with other people would be fantastic

Actually its far from close. It is fully focused on PvP with no random map generation or dungeon crawling.
Someone else was aksing for a diablo 2 key earlier. I looked on Amazon and the game is very cheap new and also available even cheaper used.
11 to 15 dollars new and around $9.45 used.

Umm no they are nothing like Diablo. They like DotA.
Battle of the immortals is what I hear is the best diablo like game right now. Although it looks pretty easy (at least starting out).
Playing BOI right now it is quite fun I have a slayer.

check out a game called erebus. its free and still in beta, but its very, very diablo
GW nothing like Diablo nor WoW.
Anyway to the topic, Hellgate London was the closest thing to diablo but of course that game is no longer online.
Check out a mod called Median XL by a guy named Brother Laz. It was a top 10 mod on moddb this year and it rocks! I beileive he has stopped updating it to work on something using the sc2 engine but he has done so many updates in the past that the game is about as polished as you will see it. I think its DIablo 2.5 personally.

Actually, most MMOs are Diablo styled.
SWTOR is going to be extremely Diablo style.
