Which class is the best........? For Alliance? Opinions?? Everyone has at least 1

I really havent had a chance to play alliance and I heard the Paladin rocked?!  I havent read much on them either and am interested in what you Paladins thought?  Or which class you think you will play first for the retail launch?  I played a hunter and I thought is was great, but I've said that b4. :)  Whats your opinion on this?

To me there all good in their own respects, it depends on your play style, do you prefer to play a durable class, than pally would be a good choice. Pallys are extremely good now with the talents.

This is really pretty much an opinon subject.  I played Paladin up till the patch that changed them, it changed them to a play style other then what I enjoyed, so I stoped playing the Paladin, does this mean they are horriable now, not really, they are just diffrent then they used to be, and a diffrence I personaly didn't care for.  However I enjoy playing a Hunter and I also enjoyed the Warlock, Rouges are also very good.  Mainly in WoW it is all about play style, they have done a great job balanceing things so their isn't one super uber class (sorry I can't beleave I just said uber, oops did it again).  I've played every Race/Class combination for the Allience, they aer all good, I settled on Hunter because I liked the play style the most.

I had a lvl 15 Dwarf Hunter, and near the end of the beta i started dueling other classes. I completely stomped the mage and even another hunter class...some of them two lvl's higher than me. The warrior was defeated very quick. THEN...i made the mistake of fighting a human paladin image

She destroyed me...i never had a chance at all. I couldnt even have run away if i wanted to, because i was stunned by some spell, then ruthlessly pounded on by a sword, while my pet was ignored. That class is by far the strongest ive seen. Kinda makes me wish i'd started one.

I mean absolutly no disrepspect to Krull, but it also depends on the player (both of them).  I've been a Human Warlock, Human Paladin, Dwarven Hunter, and Night Elf Hunter the most out of all the combinations, and I've duled alot of other combinations to test things out.  I lost just as much as I won with each of the combinations, I am by no means a PvPer, I enjoy PvP but I am not hardcore with it, it is part of the game and I enjoy doing it, on my terms :)  Some classes infact do better against other classes, but no one class beats every other class every time.  For example I duled a Rouge buddy of mine with my Warlock... I beat him, badly, then a day later we turned around and duled again, he beat me, badly.

Probably paladin, they are over powered like woah.

Edit: It's not about how strong the class is though, it's about how strong you play the class. I played a warrior and fought every class. One fight in particular I was against a druid. First round he won. I learned from the first fight, switched my tactic, and beat him every time after with really no problem. It seems that's how the game is essentially. Your class is only as strong as you make it to be.

In the Open Beta, I played a Level 16 Night Elf Hunter and a Level 11 Troll Mage. I started out with the mage because usually casters and mages are the play style I like. It started to get a tad boring when I got owned over and over again (guess I tried to fight higher level creatures too early). I had the most fun with my Hunter, but I agree with everyone in that every class has its pros and cons, and its about which playstyle you enjoy.

Well, I started on the alliance and decided with the rogue because of the organization or lack thereof. Rogues seem to be both a party favorite and a solo designed class. I guess once people get more comfortable with the game the alliance will learn to stick together.

Rogue. I began to think WoW was boring after playing my Orc warrior to lvl 20 and was about to not buy the retail and then... i found the jewel of WoW, Rogues ive never had so much fun playing anything and i usually hate stealth chars but my Dwarf Rogue was badass.

    i would say like this:

    Dark Elf - hunter

    Orc - Warrior/shaman

    Gnome - warlock/mage

    human - warrior

    over and out

    over and out

Shaman and Paladin are considered the strongest classes at the moment. However, who knows how nerfs/buffs will change the balance of the classes. I suggest you play the type of character you want to play and hope for the best.

I will play a defensive warrior... I figured that this class and stance is so nerfed atm, that eventually it will have to be fixed and with balancing comes overpowered classes =)  *Just rolling the dice* =)

Well i played a Human Paladin till lvl 14...started to pwned mobs at lvl 11 or something...lack of equipment....but then at the end of the beta...i had very nice equipment and i did duel some ppl....i never lost a fight...i tried to duel with a hunter...mage..and stuff like that....the mage was tough....he changed me into a f**king sheep...haha...but then we blasted me with spells...lets say it was close...but i love the fact that a Paladin can handle a lot of monster higher than him easily...Well i know i'll be a paladin when i'll reveive my retail...

    my 2 cents

I'd have to agree with j-monster.

However I do typically play an archer/ranger/duel wielding type character because to me they are always the funnest.

My level 18 night elf rogue was a lot of fun and is what I plan to roll in retail.

not sure that helps your own personal decision but you asked for opinons so there is mine image

Paladins are currently very good characters.  But i soon see the Nerf bat comming for some of their skills cause I think they are way over powered.

I see Warriors getting a big boost in overall HP and and increase in damage.

Rogues are a great class to play.  They are really good at high lvls for pvp and pve.

I played both a warrior and rogue during closed beta.  Before the "awesome" warrior patch that broke the class in half, life was great.  I made a rogue after that patch and i played him to lvl 35 i find they are a very very good class.  But I agree with a previous poster on here saying that warriors are so crippled right now that they can only get better and im gonna bank on that.   So warrior for me all the way but i will deffinitely be making a rogue as well.

    Hope this helped someone.

My personal favorite is night elf rogue.

It really depends on your playstyle though as to what class you will enjoy. Every class is good in ways and they all have their strong points.

As an orc warrior, I was able to charge a few hunters and totally kill them while taking damage from others as well. I would imagine that paladins could do nearly the same, along with heal themselves.

Rogues you have to be sneaky, stealth in behind people and let them eat an ambush/backstab. Once you are unstealthed, you are fairly weak, but you can usually finish the person off if you are skilled.

Mages have a lot of utility, lots of ways to royally screw a person over. If someone gets too close to a mage though, it can be over for them very quickly.

Warlocks are very cool, pretty strong in pvp because of AE fear, and they have really cool pets. I never beat a warlock 1 vs 1 with my rogue, I came very close, but AE fear just owns.

Shamans are the ultimate supposrt class at low levels. They are unbelievably good at PvP in low levels, they usually never die because of all the totems they can drop. Ghost wolf is just icing on the cake.  They are good healers for instances or pvp at lower levels also, but I can't speak for high end things.

Hunters do really good damage with bows/guns, pets are really cool, along with all of the other hunter skills. In hand to hand combat hunters are pretty weak though, this probably changes a bit at lvl 40 when they wear mail.

Priest and druid, never played either one so I can't comment too much on them.
