SV working on new DEV section for MO forums

Agricola1Agricola1 Member UncommonPosts: 4,977

In short they're making a section where they'll update what the DEV team is working on and what is upcoming in the next patch/patches.

Henrik:

"I will post this here as well then:

As we have been working in the dark for some time now day and night we have not been giving you much information lately. We are hoping the result will talk for itself.

This far ahead in the coming patch I can tell you that there will be content in this patch, some interesting content. We got 2 teams pretty much 1 team working on content while the other team works on the merge/desync.

I'm working on a dev section, where we will share what kind of features/content we are working on atm, coming and in the planned future. With this everyone can see what we are doing atm and whats coming in the next patch and whats coming a bit further. I guess most people will enjoy this section, If I only can get some more time over to finish the first part of it that is...

Hope this bits of info helps for the moment."

It sounds nice and I hope they follow through with it, I know this'll be an endless source of amusement for haters but you know what? Haters gonna hate! I'm just happy Henrik gives enough of a s*** to log in and post on his own forums and chat with us :)

Will they fix the bug that exists since the beginning,,same npc spawn on top of itself and stays there? and the combat? will the put a working responsive fun combat ingame before release?

What about more contend, now we can only explore the empty world by day cause at night you cant see nothing, we can gather stuff get robbed, gather again get killed and robbed or try kill people with this horrid , slow unresponsive combat...

The thing i love about MO is the graphics...they look amazing at max setting...only problem is i cant aford a new pc to run it..i run every mmo in the market at max or medium setting including vanguard and aoc..but this one gives me low fps even at lower settings...and because the view distance is so great even worse..

With these graficks and view settings will it be possible to have more then 10 people in the same screen fighting without fps drop to 1 frame per second and crash?

I hope they iron some of the stuff out before release and that is what they're trying to do. At night you can see quite well when the moon is out, in my experience atleast half of nights you get decent visibility. When it's pitch black (no moon) well there's always a torch and you can navigate using stars and landmarks.

Combat is slow and unresponsive at first, however as you skill up and get higher dexterity your swing is faster and it's more responsive. I'm close to max now and can say there's a massive difference compared to when I began in speed and damage.

Gathering and not getting killed, well it's an occupational hazard. If you stay close to an NPC city with guards then I find it's very rare for players (even reds) to attack a noob in rags. Out in the wild you'll probably get killed if alone and you encounter a group of reds.

With my system I can get plenty on the screen without an FPS drop, I have a Phenom II X3 720, 4GB DDR3 and an ATI 5770.
