I've searched thru several WoW websites for some simple UI mods and haven't had much luck.  I guess people in the Beta were too busy playing to make many mods image

I'm actually just looking to add a second toolbar to my interface.  Running out of slots in the standard toolbar is really the only weakness I find in the standard interface.

I know Cosmos has that and a lot more, but I don't want to install the full Cosmos.  Frankly, I prefer to keep my mods to a minimum and Cosmos redoes too much of the UI for my taste.  The less my UI mods affect the game the less likely they are to break with each new patch.

I used to play EQ and loved the fact that at www.eqinterface.com they had little components that you could pick and choose from.  Unfortunately, those guys seem to have taken the www.wowinterface.com domain and redirected it to their EQ2 mods which is sneaky to say the least given that they are not doing WoW mods.  I'd guess that makes them the ultimate EQ and EQ2 fanboys image

Well, to get back on track, does anyone know of a site where I can get some simple mods to the WoW UI as opposed to a full blown redo like Cosmos?

    I've read that Blizzard has their own customizable GUI in the works, which is unlikely to be in at retail but probably within the next two or three months I'd guess.

    I know this isn't really the answer you're looking for but I hope it helps to know it's being worked on by Blizzard themselves.

    Everything cosmos does can be turned off. You can enable and customize each feature one bye one.

    On the worldofwarcraft.com site they have there own forum just for moders.

    although this is down, when WoW goes live this well be up. Some are simple while other are full blown. The good thing in imo is that Blizz is open for modding.

    however you can make cosmos seem small, just look though the configuration. Like out hide both side toolbars, auto hide empty slots, etc.

    I personaly like cosmos because you can make it small, but if/when you need it, its availble for you. cosmos also has really good features that make it stand out from the others.

    Thanks for the replies telling me that the the Cosmos UI can be turned off piece by piece.  I didn't realize that!  I'll have to try that at release.

    I also know that there's a UI section in the official WoW forums, but I was too busy playing the game during beta to pay too much attention to it image My mistake I guess, I've only started looking for a UI mod now that Blizzard has temporarily deprived me of my addiction while we wait for release.  And of course that section along with all the offical WoW forums is down until release image
