I finally got to try MO : )

It was kinda what i expected. Big sandbox FFA PvP and full loot MMO.

First did i try and fight, and luckely i got attacked by some other noob, killed it and then took of into the horisen. Walked for two hours in a straight line, got charged by some mounted asshole (i know his name) and got to walk around as a ghost.

I will wait alittle longer before i get it. But it was really fun to play.

    To me, MO is a perfect game. The only current problem are the bug and desync lag. There need to be some balance too like the thief system.

    BTW, to prevent knockback, you need to read the book to learn how to defend vs this.

    Yeah that sounds about right.  Give it another shot for sure.  When your skills improve (in game skills that is) The combat etc. gets a little more fluid.  As for the mounted guy. . that was the first time I got killed as well. . tried to run around a tree (like he was a Moose) but he nailed me anyway.  Exploring is fun but I found after a few weeks (having seen the world) that it got a ilttle less interesting.  I think after release as the community settles out it will get more interesting.

    wile i like this happy MO thread a word of warning.

     yes loggin in for the first time and playing the game for a few hours it's all new, shiny and fun but, once you put a few more hours in, once you'v seen most of the landscape, once you'v killed a few hunderd boars, made a few weappons, been killed by the same mounted assho^% 50 times and lost all your armor, been killed by the assho*#'s hacker/exploiter buddy 50 times and lost all you armor,  this game gets old real fast.

    be smart, don't repeat the same thing that got you killed in the first place. Most people who become "the sheep" instead of "the wolf" are the ones who fail to think.

    There's no skill or thinking involved.  You either hack/exploit in MO or you don't.
