Eq 1 was one of the least enjoyable games i have played. Is this the same crap like the other mmorpgs?

i cant give an honest opnion because i havent played it yet, but i will soon. i will leave it up to people who have played it to tell you, but, i just wanted to say whatever you do, dont listen to shobu, he is posting in every post like this trying to say how bad it is. he doesnt seem to know how to control himself, i can almost gaurantee you he will post something here. he seems to have it out for EQ2 trying to get attention by posting hate type remarks. i would completely disregard anything he has to say (also because im sure he has never played it).

    Very clever prediction Jayheld.

Firstly, yes I have played it, and yes, it's dreadfully bad.

But seriously... Don't take my word for it. In fact, ignore every post I've ever made on this forum. I'm far from the only person criticizing EQ2. In fact it seems that a sizeable proportion of the people who bought it have just plain given up on it.

I have to say Jayheld, when I saw that you haven't played EQ2 I actually laughed out loud, and I have to thank you for that. Sony's managed to make a successful trade out of convincing people to give them their money for a game they haven't even tested, based on the success of a game they didn't even make (the original Everquest).

You are in absolutely no position to contest my assertions about EQ2, so I'll politely ask you to refrain from doing so until you've actually played it.

you know you can say you played it all you want, but me believing you are two different things. also, yes i have not played it, but i do have eyes and i can read, not to mention i use ventrilo and talk to my guildmates while they play...there are well over 40 of them. you know i really havent seen a single one stop playing and they all seem to love it. [/sarcasm] but, dont take my word for it, its not like i havent read every single possible piece of info on this game, watched every movie, and looked at every screenshot, or talked in voice chat to many, many people that play and like it. [/sarcasm off] image

You can say you have a guild of 40 people who you talk to on Ventrilo but me believing you are two different things (excuse me for borrowing your atrotious grammar there - just making a point that it's easy to bolster your argument by accusing the other guy of lying instead of using facts).

well if you dont believe me, try looking at my guild site and see the member count, the ventrilo money drive and if your so worried about it, pop into our ventrilo server and check for yourself. now for your proof?

EDIT: the site is in my sig image

Did you actually read my post?

I said was making a point that it's easy to just say "I don't believe you" rather than come up with facts.

Obviously I have no evidence that I played EQ2, but I have and that's that. The fact that you refuse to believe me says more about the fact that you don't like what I have to say about it (despite the fact that you haven't even played it yourself).

You obviously want me to stop posting on the EQ2 forums, so here's my advice to you. Stop snapping at my heels like a starved weener-dog every time I post. Not only is it irritating, but it's also embarrassing.

I look forward to your full review of EQ2 after you've actually had a chance to experience the game for yourself.
