What are the hot fps games at the moment or about to be released.

Since it doesn't look like theres gonna be a good mmo for quite some time, and I hate letting my rig rot. What good fps games are out there or comming real soon?

    FPS? Hmmm... new? Dunno.

    If I feel like coop FPS I play Killing Floor, which is a coop zombie slayer game for up to six people. The good: I picked it up for 4 or 5 bucks on the steam xmas sale. The music is fun, good amount of classes, always people there to fight with and the right game to slaughter some zombies everys now and then. The bad: graphics are outdated and if you play it too much it gets repetetive I guess.

     

    Else I play TF2 every now and then for the PvP. Everyone knows TF2, so there ain't much to say about it. I might probably check out Lead and Gold sometime, or what's it called, which is like a western version of TF2 if I'm right.

    Let's play Fallen Earth (blind, 300 episodes)

    I know its for console only, but Red Dead Redemption looks f-ing brilliant. I am taking a break from PC when it comes out in two weeks and give some love to my PS3.

    halo reach looks like it will be a strong contender

    mlg has been showing what they can and so far it looks fun !true the stream quality was awfull but i bet ms/bungie said to them the quality they could show off (since halo reach is in beta)

    but in the fps world this game will be big no doubt about it!

    we were 1600 viewer when i left ,i bet the average gamer didnt even know mlg was streaming the beta lol!

    I checked out the fps's you all mentioned.I'm gonna go with BC2 for now (good excuse to upgrade my comp a bit to :). When fall comes I'll get halo and medal of honor probably.Especially if there isn't squat for mmorpg's by then. I do play red orchestra by tripwire.Its an excellent WW2 realism fps.The new one ,heroes of stalingrad is most likely early 2011 release though.

    Fallen earth is a fun FPS MMO I been playing since launch.. This is 14.99 amonth.

     

    Call of duty MW2 , call of duty is coming out with a new one in NOV..

     

    Free FPS, cross fire is fun, also mercenary wars is ok to both are free MW is in beta .

    Basically clicking away text windows ruins every MMO, try to have fun instead of rushing things. Without story and lore all there is left is a bunch of mechanics.
