need help with 360 disc problem

so i bought the game for the 360. went through the install of the playonline viewer and all that jazz smoothly. regestered without and complications, untill step 7. I could change my pol mail address or my take a survey. well i changed the pol mail address cuz those numbers was just retarded lol. so i went to take the survey and it came back saying it was unavaible cuz of network issues. so i said ok and exited that and the only option left was to take survey. well it wouldnt let me so i pushed the guide button and went to dashboard. i then tryed to restart the viewer to install FFXI and well it then i got a pop-up message from the xbox saying it could not read disc and to clean the disc and restart 360. so i did just that, didnt help still cant read. i went to xbox.com/support and went through there disc solutions and its saying i need to send the xbox in to get fixed, but the only game not being read is FFXI. all the other games work perfectly. so has anyone else had this issue, and if so how did you fix it??

Oddly enough, if you stream or play music with your xbox while having the disc read, it should work. Many people have solved the problem this way. :]
