Account status : BANNED
I was one of the ppl that purchased collectors edition at the beginning of AION , got disappointed with it and quit. Just logged in to resub and give it another go , but I find my account has been banned ?!?!?! lol any clue on that? Customer service not answering either

Your account was probably hacked by a gold seller who then got banned
Just found out someone must have hacked my account since email in profile is unknown to me . Someone been hacking server? I dont share my account details with anyone and this is acctually the 1st time something like this happens to me
Same thing happened with mine but I removed all my payment information before I quit playing. I emailed customer service they didn't even have the courtesy of even replying. NCsoft is like most foreign mmo's. Gold sellers run rampant, regular players get stiffed.
When did you start playing "old school" MMO's. World Of Warcraft?
Alot of the hackers use keyloggers and other devices to get your info. I am not an IT guy but i bet someone on here can tell you exactly how it is done.
Happened to my daughter on WOW and i had to call them and they straightened it out and got all the items that were on the account back-I know that does not help you but i have to belive that the Account systems have to be set up similar.
Nothing new under the sun. Same happened to me and waited like 2 months for my items. Well...at least got them back but who cares, i will never play NCsoft game anymore.
I think I ll do the same but ... this is really lame
Recently bought Guildwars to try it out since I'm hyped with GW2.. Tried to register it to my old account and found out I had been banned..
Figured I must've been hacked as well, though it was ages since I logged in there so I doubt it was a keylogger.. Regardless, since I only have the City of X games there and a few betas I'm honestly not sure if I should be bothered with getting the account back. Whole thing kinda pisses me off though.

It was most likey a goldseller or hacker that keylogged your account, sorry to say but you can't do anything but wait at this point for a reply from NCsoft

My account was hacked in March, since thats the time when they changed my email and used a prepaid time card to access it . I stopped playing in November, so I doubt it has anything to do with keyloggers, most likely someone found a way to hack NCSoft's database

keyloggers? Dont think so. I will avoid anything related to NCsoft like plague

Yesterday after months of suspension i wanted to resub but i found it banned....i sent email to NCsoft,they want everything ,also Cd-key and product ID they sent me the day i validate my AiON's cd-key ,but i don't have 'em......i only gave them my personal info,credit card last numbers and that's all,i even can provide 'em a picture of my identity card if needed but i think that it's not "keylogger" related this scam....i don't click on suspcious links and i run daily every sort of antivir and ad/spy checker like a-squared and antimalaware.
I suppose that's something coming from inside Ncsoft.

their data protection was really bad, ppl could log on to edit their account and ended up on some else's account.
My account was hacked as well, I quit after the first month was up, and a couple months later I got a reactivation email. I sent them a letter saying it wasnt me, I got an automated response, sent all my info, CD key and everything. They never responded.
I wouldnt have been more upset had I actually enjoyed the game.
