what warhammer 40k class would you play?

hey,
so I want to start a thread about what classes you would like to see and play in the warhammer MMO?
Personally I would like to play a chaplain, that class would e awesome if you could upgrade to terminator armor:
they better have Marneus Calgar as a NPC boss because he is 100% Bad ass. Oh and just to show everyone the scale of the Warhammer 40k universe here is a little star map I found that is very well done. Check it out

Can you list all the possibilities? Not all of us are Warhammer players. I only know about space marines and space wolves, based on what I've seen in the bookstore. I would choose space wolf in a heartbeat, I have a thing for werewolves in entertainment.
Withholding deciding until knowing a full gamit of what the game will entail. Based on SaintVik's link of this, I am excited to say I will be playing this title. I'm not letting hype happen, but a statement such as this is a strong indicator, to me, of what devs in this genre have been lacking.
Space wolves... but yet I wanna be the baddie. Will depend a lot on how they dissect factions.
That is exactly right, and we're not saying NO to save WoW, because it is already a lost cause. We are saying NO to dissuade the next group of greedy suits who decide to emulate Blizzard and Cryptic, etc.
We can prevent some of the future games from spewing this crap, but the sooner we start saying no, the better the results will be.

I'd like to be a Commissar. With a squad of IG 'pets' that follow my orders, and whose performance I can temporarily increase by executing one of them.

Rune Priest would be so cool. Character name could be something like 'Mjall Stromcaller'

Space Wolves aren't werewolves, although they do have some wolf-like traits, such as a preternaturally acute sense of smell. They're actually a Space Marine chapter, with a Viking theme. Assuming that Space Marines are a possibility, they probably won't have special rules for the different chapters; the only difference will be your armor's paint job. That's how it worked out in the Dawn of War games.
It's not really possible to state what the possibilities are, because there isn't really any existing set of classes that they can copy. What's available will have to be determined as part of the game design. In the existing pen-and-paper RPGs for the Warhammer 40k universe, you can't play a Space Marine at all, mainly because they focus on other subjects with more role-playing potential. There aren't even, that I'm aware of, even any stats for Space Marines as NPCs, or for Space Marine equipment, although I expect they will eventually show up in some supplement or another.
hard choice, if I could be anything? a tau in a crisis battlesuit haha
