How to use a proxy?

Ok, so my friend is in a different region and he can't play a game because his region is blocked but I heard that by using proxy servers, it's possible to bypass this region block.

 

Question is, how do you do it and how safe is it? Can you make it work for only one game or is it always on?

    You look throught the hundreds of different proxy services for one that has an IP address within the non-blocked service area. You follow their directions to set up your connection. You try to log into the game. You then find out the game has already blocked that proxy service's IP because other people already used it.

    Repeat...

    Repeat...

    Repeat...

    You find a proxy service that works. Until it doesn't

    Repeat...

    Repeat...

    Repeat...

    etc.

    forget it.

    proxies are WAY too slow for real gaming.

    maybe if you can live with a 20 second ping...

    mm the main issue with proxy is you got to make sure it is VERY SECURE,because basicly in most situation you are left open to attack!in general i would advise against doing it!if the game need proxy and the version you have in your country is lame

    or various issue you are better off changing game!sorry to be desapointing!
