I would wonder how deep the story is behind Alganon compared to any other mmo. If by story, he means, 2 or 3 quests link together, and there might be 20 or sets of quests that link together in that way, wow what a great story!
If he means a story like TOR will be, well, I'd like to see it then.
Normally I'd defend whoever this was made news on. However, with Derek Smart's need to belittle everything in his path, I think the bar should be set higher for such a unique human being. Surely a man with so much creativity and originality could have thrown a press release together that was 1000x better.

The real story here isn't the plagiarizing, but Smart's failure to respond when the issue was first pointed out here.
Given the amount of crap he has spouted here which has had to be deleted he clearly spends a fair bit of time here. And he has had no problem with quickly responding to people responding to his flames in a speedy manner. But when it comes to the launch of Alganon he didn't bother to see how it was received by its audience on these boards? He has time for flamefests, but not for using the forum to improve Alganon and its appeal in the marketplace, which is supposed to be his job. Smart is clearly a man who cares more about his ego than doing his job.
