NCsoft and Paragon Studios have unveiled new details on the Praetorian version of Back Alley Brawler known as Marauder, as well as new information on The Syndicate.

Marauder is also known as Praetor White and serves as Emperor Cole's right-hand man. Marauder is also the leader of the Powers Division, which is Praetoria's official team of superheroes that are tasked to deal with threats the Praetoria Police Department can't handle. Read Marauder's full bio here.

The Syndicate are a "vast network of ruthless criminals, lead by mysterious leaders." They are often behind many of the acts of vandalism and theft in Praetoria, and have even been known to incite riots. Judging by the official listing on the Going Rogue website as well as the accompanying screenshot, the group are often clad in all black, arm themselves heavily with automatic weapons and even swords, apparently. Additional details on The Syndicate can be found here.

Visit the official Going Rogue website for even more details on the upcoming expansion.

Great customiization, but after 6 years and the charater models are the same, new powersets are just shuffling and re-skinning old ones, and travel powers are limited to what they were at release, I can't get excited about this anymore.

It is all in how you look at it.  New is new.  BUT if you pick it apart or just want to judge without enjoying, that is your loss.  Why take the rollercoaster ride if you are just going to put your mind to not having fun.  If your going to take it smile and put your arms way up in the air and scream for joy.  It is so much more fun to go through life that way.  Try it.  :)

What is "The Syndicate guild?" Do they exist in-game in City of Heroes? If so, then NCSoft already owns their name. Did this "Syndicate guild" get permission from real life crime syndicates to use their name?

Also since this is a alternate reality it does not matter if it is a CoH/V Guild. Heck the RP possibilities would be great.. Apart from that it matters nil.

This have been a good conversation
