Where to purchase & download(fast) expansion from?

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone knows a place where I can download the expansion quickly.

 

Current choices are:

- buy from Funcom and patch but their patch downloading is slow and and all over the place. It fluxuates between 200 KB/s to 1.2 MBits/s

- buy from Direct2Drive but the page still says pre-order, so I'm not sure if it can be downloaded yet. Has anyone purchased this expansion from them? Are you able to download it now?

 

Any others?

It is hardly an issue is it with all the server being down ^-^

Yep servers are down for 6 hours til 11pm UK time.

 

I personally got a key of g2play.net simply because onlinekeystore.com dont support paypal anymore (huge fail on their behalf!) then just patched up to Rise of the Godslayer using the patcher itself. I was getting a pretty steady 1.4mbits/s (my max net speed) throughout the whole download, only took me an hour and a half or so to get 4 gigs. So for me that was the fastest way! Direct2drive is a rip off in the UK, £29.99 hell no. But most stores here are saying the retail copy isnt out until 14th so I didnt want to wait.

It took me like 45 mins from the regular site.

Just go to register.ageofconan.com and order it there. It took me a whole hour and a half to download and patch everything, it's no big deal really. That's my recommendation for best option. Cheers!
