I just bought AoC for what its worth - 6gbp, I had a lot hessitation before doing it though, but now that they have released a NON-FREE expansion and demand 25euros for this game, I'll think I'll go on and say NO, for the second time now :}
Think Funcom should learn a trick or two from CCP, besides theses dudes still owe me 50 euroes for the box I buyed, when the game was released 
why? because the game was utter **** and is not worth 50 eureso by a mile...

Actually the game is great. Lot's of bugs fixed, and to be honest, you don't need the expansion to enjoy AOC. Just play the Hyborian Adventures for now, if it grows on you as it has on a lot of people re-subbing, then get expansion, but the expansion is not necessary to play AOC.
I don't think that word means what you think it means.
the expansions are never "needed" to play the game, but you can also walk with one leg. Especially when they add SOOO much content for 20-40 levels, and thats what you are when you leave tortage...
Im still waiting for the ironic part...
The expansion was announced over six months ago, its not like they just came online one day and said SURPRISE EXPANSION TIME...

My opinions of AoC have been negative quite often. However, none of your words or declared actions make any sense, whatsoever. You're going to not play a game you sub to because they released an expansion?
are you 5? No, im stating that they are f*cking up their game again because they are asking an unrealistic price for what they offer, they atleast owe the people they scammed with their game(when they released it) a free expansion...

I've never really grasped the concept of irony, but when I think about it, I try to remember an example a teacher once gave me: Firestation on fire. If that is in fact irony, then being asked to pay for a game expansion is not. Maybe to OP listens to too much Alanis Morissette?

They don't owe anybody anything. I bought the game at release and left before my first month was up like most people and never went back. I don't feel scammed at all. The game wasn't for me, so I moved on. You should do the same.

Maybe I'm a fanboi, maybe not, I just enjoy the game since re-subbing like a lot of people that re-subbed. Yes there are those that still hate it, but that's just life in general, can't please everyone...but I have to disagree with the statement that they are "f*cking it up again" as you put it. I think Funcom is actually doing this right. The inital launch was bad, this game is one of the top MMO's out there right now, and Funcom has come a very long way. Two thumbs up for Funcom.
did you not read my post about a cripple walking? Walking without a leg is walking too, just not the same as with two legs...
The expansion will cost 25 bucks wasn't a secret. I think you should do your research before buying a product OP.
