    22 November, 2004 – Paris, France:
Blizzard Entertainment® today announced the launch plans in Europe for World of Warcraft®, its highly anticipated massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG). Blizzard also confirmed that the game will release in Europe in early 2005. Pre-orders for World of Warcraft will be available at retail on November 26, 2004.

“We’re extremely proud of World of Warcraft, and in particular, its accessibility to players of all abilities, from hardcore to casual gamers,” said Mike Morhaime, president and co-founder of Blizzard Entertainment. “We are also very glad to have totally whipped Sony's ass! I mean have you actually seen Everquest 2? Me and the guys have literally spent the whole damn week high-fiving each other! Hehe... This one is IN THE BAG!”. Mike then went on to crack open the biggest bottle of champagne ever in the history of the world.

    6 month 10.99€ = 14.33 USD

    US prices

    wow $49.99
    WoW ce 69.99€
world of warcraft gamecard 29.82 USD

    $14.99 per month,
the three-month plan costs $13.99 per month,

I ripped it of an other forum. The price for the gamecards is simply insane.
