MMO With 3-player Max (or optimum) Party Size

Maybe an odd request, but I'm looking for an MMO to play with both of my brothers, and I want us to comprise a 'full' party, no one else needed. Plenty of games allow for 3 party members, but require more to reach the optimum number -- we tried to play WoW together, for example, and run through all the instances, but the optimum party size is 5 people, so some of the dungeons weren't possible to beat before we'd outlevelled any benefit from beating them.

So are there any MMOs out there that can accommodate? The only one I know of is Atlantic Online, but we didn't particularly care for it.

Depends on what you like:

 

For the best PVP endgame (if there is an endgame?) out there I would recommend Darkfall. 3 people in plenty. I usually roll with less and do great. Open world with no-instances sandbox fantasy FFA PVP with full-loot. You need at least an hour or two everytime you play as it is for very long term players. I've never had more of an adrenaline rush from any other game. There is a grind in this game but I think it is very fun. With 3 people in the same group you would have quite a big advantage over others but until you guys duel often and learn to play you will probably have some bad days but the good days are very epic and make it all worth it.

 

For F2P PVP I recommend Guildwars. Very populated instanced battlegrounds. Can create original builds because you can only bring 8 skills/spells into battle. Great game to play if you only have a half hour to play. I can get on to kill people for only 10 minutes if I want to. There is also no grind in this game really.

 

For PVE I recommend Vanguard. The PVP is pretty much non-existant because the PVP server is dead and actually the PVE servers have low population as well but with 3 people you should have enough to make it through to the end game together. There is probably 2 or 3 spots where you guys could really use help in getting some epic gear like around level 25 and again at level 35ish and then you'll probably want to join others for some end game raids. The classes in this game are very fun and the world is absolutely HUGE with no instances. If you get bored or stuck on a quest chain than you can go to a different continent and try a different chain. I really cannot think of funner PVE out there but I do enjoy killing mobs in Darkfall more. It is the quests and crafting in this game that are pretty leet. Closest game to this is the original everquest.
