In the MMORPG Guild thread above, NovaKayne mentioned that a good way to play Vanguard was with a regular group that played together once a week.

If you can get 6 people to do this, it is like a DnD PnP setting. Lots of fun going through the different areas and playing together. We did it with a group out in the remote parts of the Half Giant area.
Lots of fun, very little competition for spawn and drops for questing. Very interesting story and a blast for Role Play! Being in a group like that will level you up quick even if only playing 1 time a week. It does take a commitment though and players can go up in other spheres ( crafting and Diplomacy ) if they play more than the others, or play an alt.
I think this style of play would be perfect for me, as I probably can't play too often, but once a week is not a problem. Anyone interested in giving this a try? If you are interested maybe mention what times you can play, and your characters, although starting from scratch might be fun.
For me, I can play one session sometime Mon-Fri from 1:00pm-4:30pm or 6:30pm-10:00pm (EDT, GMT-4). Currently I have a lvl 10 Psionicist.

I'm pretty flexible atm, don't have a lot of commitments, I can't usually not go long past midnight though, but those time would work for me. Lvl 17 druid. I'm EU +1 I think.
Come on people, lets make this happen.
