I agree, there didnt seem to be an "end game". But every day seemed like an adventure.
I loved that game pre-cu and pre-nge (well less during cu). End-game content for me was the GCW with my MBH
It's not "end-game" but end-game-content. End-game is an end like in CRPG's, end-game-content is dynamic content that never ends simply because you caped.

Everquest , Velious era. That was really the golden age of EQ. Tons of content for groups and raids of various sizes. Some of the scripted events, like those for the Coldain ring quests, are still among the best I've seen in any MMO.
I'm gonna say #1 Everquest 1 back when Verant had more control of it. #2 Everquest 2's end game is also decent.
WoW's end game would be near the bottom with Fusion Fall or Alganon;P No seriously, joking aside WoW's end game is the same grind over and over, it's un-imagined Blah for me.

Yep, that’s why I asked for the odd format, so later I can go back over and tally the variants in the votes if there are enough votes like that to warrant doing it; not to split but to add a few statistical notes. So like elusivex and then that other guy that insisted on voting for WoW twice don't get counted until they format their votes right I don't count hanging chaffs lol
I know how vet SWG players feel about that hehe, I was there too. Pre-NGE would be my second vote, but I'm stuck with one vote too ...or pre-cu. But the NGE made me quit along with 94% of our PA the first month.
The best game ever made, one of the only true MMO's, where player interaction and the world mattered more than progress. Closest we have been to a true sandbox/virtual world.

From what games i've played EVE takes my vote

To this day it has not been equalled.
For all of its faults, EQ1 was the most fun I have ever had in an endgame.
