Will there be a monthly fee to play the game? Yes. When you purchase World of Warcraft, you will get a one-month free trial subscription to the game. At the end of that month, you will have to choose from three subscription plans to continue playing the game: a month-to-month package at $14.99 per month, a three-month plan at $13.99 per month, or a six-month plan at $12.99 per month.

WHAT I have to pay to play this game.... Well that really sucks. I guess I'm going to go cancel my preorder......
Ok I know better then that... just bored and all hyped up to play WoW for the long haul not for just a week.
Are any of you getting the collectors edition? I think its kind of a waste of $40 dollars for a cloth map and some behind the scene DVD's. Not trying to bring down the people that are buying it, I just cant afford it, dont have much money as a student. If I had the money id definently buy the collectors edition.
Really? Up here in Canada I was flipping through a Future Shop flyer and they were selling the Collectors Edition for $99.99 and the regular for $49.99. Maybe thats just future shop though. But yea I forgot those things, maybe I will buy the C.E. after all. We shall see
Blizzard has been working on CE's for the last four games they released. They have gotten progressively better. I think the WoW CE is the best combination of goods I've seen yet. I got the hl2 Gold package cause I'm a Fanboy, but it wasn't really that great of a collector's edition. The map is an awesome idea, and the behind the scenes is sweet. You should check out the snippet on the WoW site.
