If the world looked and was Built Like Wow? Yes.

If its another Solo Quest grind / Battleground Game, then No.

Everyone Talks about End game and How great it is. I And several Friends (About half honestly) Have no Intrest in the End content. I fully understand WHY People Like it. But I cant stand the idea of Plowing through content that someone Created, Dungeons People spent alot of Time on, Just to try and do the same 3-4 End game maps Over and over.

Crouch down and lick the hand that feeds you; May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.

    short answer: yes

long answer: not if there was a Warhammer 40k MMO available of equal or greater quality.

Your argument is like a two legged dog with an eating disorder...weak and unbalanced.

If it's at all like the current WoW then No.  If they took the IP and made something that suited my gaming taste better then yes.  I don't want to go into a long winded tirade about what it should and shouldn't be because it's been said before.

No required quests! And if I decide I want to be an assassin-cartographer-dancer-pastry chef who lives only to stalk and kill interior decorators, then that's who I want to be, even if it takes me four years to max all the skills and everyone else thinks I'm freaking nuts. -Madimorga-

If it was an MMORTS/MMOTPS I would consider it, also the graphics need to be grittier than WOW. One requirment for me ther should be no stuns.

Personally i would unless there was a Warhammer 40k MMO comming out.

Afterall why play as a Zerg when you can play as a tyranid who the Zerg were based on when Blizzard Made Starcraft based on Warhammer 40k.

Tho I would happily give up my Tyranid toon if i could be a Necron Warrior image

Another great example of Moore's Law. Give people access to that much space (developers and users alike) and they'll find uses for it that you can never imagine. "640K ought to be enough for anybody" - Bill Gates 1981

  • Probably, unless as other's have said there were a better 40k game available. Which may happen. Blizzard has admitted they have an unamed mmo in the works, and unless it's WoW 2 Starcraft seems a viable option. And we will finally be getting tangible info on the 40k mmo at E3 this year. It's less than a month away...

The one thing about the 3 big blizzard titles I don't like is starcraft for some reason. It just doesn't appeal to me....

So I probably wouldn't play it... who knows though, if it was good then sure but i'm more of a fantasy setting gamer rather than sci-fi

I'd definitely play it and I couldn't care less about anything to do with Warhammer 40k.  Whatever that is.

It is more awesome than anything you will ever do, ever. I would strongly advise that you educate yourself, and appear less the fool. And then shit your pants over how awesome Baneblades, Bloodthirsters, and Squiggoths are. And how Space Marines pretty much piss testosterone.

I like both settings, a lot. Starcraft was my first Blizzard game, and I will always have a fond place for it in my heart. That being said, it doesn't hold a god damn candle to WH40K. Oh, and yes, I would play a Starcraft MMO.

P.S. - BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD!

Nah I've looked at it and they seriously need a whole new art team to revisualize everything in it.  It just looks so stupid and juevenile.  If every vehicle and unit in Starcraft had skulls glued all over them then I might see the resemblance.

The skulls are there with purpose, though. And the ones that don't have it, don't have it for a reason. The Skull is the symbol of the Imperium, so Imperials plaster it over EVERYTHING to pay respects to the Emperor. As for Chaos, the ones that worship the Blood God feel that removing, skinning, and placing skulls gives them to the Blood God so that he can sit upon a grander seat ("SKULLS FOR THE SKULL THRONE!"). Necrons are undead metal-abominations. Also; A lot of people are constantly dying. Ergo, lots of skulls.

But if you look at Tau and Eldar, etc., you're not going to find skulls. I'm not going to make you change your mind, I mean, if you don't like the art style, you don't like the art style. But I think you're missing out on a fantastic setting because you're looking at it at face value. C'est la vie.

If it was rebuilt from the ground up as a MMORPG like WOW was than definitely yes. If they just made it into a MMORTS than definitely no. Every MMORTS i've ever tried just plan sucked (My Opinion) as the RTS genre is much better suited to single player or limited multiplayer (Again, My Opinion).

Of course I would play this epic game!!! I just don't want the game or players to be tagged as "Nerfed" as would happen to most all of the games nowadays... But I bet that blizzard won't let us down if this thing would happen.
