DAoC's pvp vs WoW's pvp

Anyone played daoc before? If so, can u tell me how does wow's pvp compare to daoc's pvp? Based on ur experience w/ daoc's rvr, wut do u like and dislike about wow's pvp? Is wow's pvp zone as big as daoc? Or is it just another small arena like that in guildwar's? Is there seige like in daoc2 and lineage2?
I'm a huge fan of pvp and an ex-daoc player. Since i love daoc's rvr, i'm wondering if wow will be fun for me.

About the same except you don't feel you have won something when you wipe out the others because they are all back within 2minutes
(and no penality for dying). Also atm its kind of mindless bashing as there's no reward for pvp'ing yet...but its coming! 
Yes zones in wow are bigger than daoc.
Battlegrounds are on their way so you will find siege artillery soon
The battlegrounds will give you much the same feel that DaoC had from all I am seeing. There will be goals to accomplish, not just endless bashing each other to death but a reason you are there.
Since the battlegrounds were not fully implemented during beta most information is based on what Blizzard is saying, not on our experience as testers. The PvP experienced during beta probably will have little to do with how things end up in the game.
I have only experienced WoW's PVP at low level ... my main complaint about it is that it is over too fast. I had the same complaint about DAOC.
I used to play EQ on a PvP server and so far that was the best .. long one on one battles with lots of counters and escape methods possible. So far I am disappointed with WoWs pvp but I am sure it will be very different at level 60 to the way it is at level 20 - 25.
One thing is sure though .. the grind you have to face in both EQ and DAOC to reach the level needed for decent PVP puts me off them completly. WoW at least offers a nice content filled world to guide you through the levels. DAOC on the other hand bores the hell out of me .. and now to be competitive in PVP you need to have uber gear and have completed all your master levels, and that also assumes that your toon dont get hit with Mythics well used nerf stick.
