I've been having big issues trying to download Dungeons & Dragons Online using the downloader provided on the official website, which makes use of Pando Media Booster.
I am able to start the download perfectly fine fine, and it runs normally for a little while, but then it gets stuck. The strange thing, however, is that my download speed still fluctuates, and so does the amount of data is claims I have downloaded. In other words, one second it will say I've downloaded 754KB, the next that figure will climb higher as per usual, but then it will drop back down to a lower number again. It does this over and over. I'm stumped as to what the issue is.
I have enough space on my hard drive, I've deactivated all firewalls/antivirus, and other downloads work perfectly fine. Both Allods Online and League of Legends also make use of Pando Media Booster and their downloads give me exactly the same problem, however.
Any advice? Pando's support is useless. Thanks!

you can try downloading the full DDO:Unlimited client off of fileplanet. I believe it even includes the hi-res textures. If you do it that way it doesn't require you to have the pando media booster.
Oh, I didn't realise that was available. Thanks!
About this Pando Media Booster... What does it actually do? When I quit DDO and close the client, I still have the PMB.exe running on the background and comodo keeps saying it causes 99% of my network activity.
If I try to go play some other online games, my lowest ping on servers is around 150-200ms - when I kill the PMB.exe the pings drop down to 30-40ms.
What kind of data could it still transfer, even though I don't have the DDO running?
From what I understand, its some sort of compression service. Companies seem to reroute their traffic through Pando's servers during downloading/patching.
Though, it's strange that it's at work while you're playing.
That program after your done downloading UNINSTALL IT!!
It's making you ppl that leave it there help others that are downloading to get a better download speed same if you leave a torrent seeding so others can keep on downloading with higher download speed.
So if your done downloading/using it uninstall it because it's eating your download limit.
