Are Thievery, Housing and Guilds out for release?

I know these features were not included since the move to the new UE engine a month or so ago.  I believe Henrick had stated that they would still be in for launch (housing and guilds have always been included in their small and basic "launch features" post).

I came across this response from a moderator onthe MO forums:

4. Currently, the features for release include the basics, such as PvP, PvE, and so on. Other features include crafting, and possibly house building, keep building, guilds, and thievery depending on if the developers can get them working how they want before release. Keep in mind that MO has not even been released yet after a couple years of development, where as DF had nine years of development and has been released for well over a year to get all the features it has.

This is the first time I have heard anyone associated with SV stating that these features might not be in at launch.  Has this been clarified on IRC?  It is after all just 7 days and 23 hours (on their countdown timer) from launch.

Well you've quoted the answer yourself.

"if the developers can get them working how they want before release"

They took those  features out because they felt they needed improvements, lets face it Thieving wasn't balanced and housing could be done better. I hope they're in for release but if they're not chances are they will be implemented shortly after release, it sounds like they are aiming for release with an uncertainty.

Like you've also said yourself there's a short time remaining but there's a lot to get done. Luckily they have Epic helping them for the bugs.

As for IRC, *shrugs* but it's an official source.

Epic doesn't help them with MOs bugs they help them with the Unreal Engine.

The Unreal Engine is also a programming tool.  Epic can help with bugs since they wrote the progamming tool.image

Epic is there to get SV up to speed on the best possible uses of the tool not as testers or bug fixers. They only explain and show what best to do and what best not to do, tips and tricks think of them as a user manuel but you can actually ask it questions and it answers.

The only one on there that is an issue is Guild creation, and then it doesn't need to be in "at launch". First off, to create a guild you need a house to place a guild stone to create a guild, no one will have the money to build one at release for at least two or three weeks, keeps even longer.  Resource gathering was increased in open beta, so getting the materials for these items will take longer at release. Thievery needs a complete overhaul from its current form and hope that they shelve at release in its current form.
