False information on youtube some people really hate SV

It appears that someone is trying to impersonate StarVault on Youtube in attempts to discredit there name and make them look bad. It just goes to show at what depths people will go to try and make this company look bad. Apparently he posted some fake video of what he calls the Mortal Online Release Client which in reality is Dark Messiah. He also claims to be part of the StarVault Society.

I dont think he try to make MO look bad. I wanted to do a video about the crafting system from darkmessiah myself for the appril fool day, but i was too late. Still, there are 2 videos i am still planning to post about dark messiah that will be name mortal online crafting system. Its just a joke, no need to take this seriously.
Edit: My mistake. I tried to post on the video and i have to wait for approval. He difenetely try to make MO look bad.(But for real, the dark messiah combat the way i saw it in the video is awsome.)

Yeah its sad that people will stoop to such measures to discredit SV. I mean if everyone that hates SV is right, they don't need to prove how bad they are. Yet , day in and day out there is numerous posts trying to convince us that the game is crap. This stunt is the topping on the cake.
Seems they are trying to trick people into ordering Mortal Online. Rather sad...

Yeah, the guy who is actively lying on youtube must be telling the truth about his identity.
GODLY is probably the most well-known and well-hated name in MO... someone else impersonated him on some hacking web site (but then posted a screen shot that had "welcome back GODLY" at the bottom), so it's not hard to believe someone's doing it here.
So this "conspiracy/hoax" goes back a year? Give me a break.

you mean like they have a great reputation to worry about? have you seen their only product so far? have you listened to all the hundreds of SV customers? have you folowed anything this company has done to date?
i'm sorry but the only thing that makes SV look bad is their game right now. somebody posting an inpersonation vidoe on youtube isn't gonna change anything.
I'm one of SV's customers, and I like the game. I'm not the only one either.

lol ain't that the truth. The MO Fanboy Zealots are worst, seems very a$$-backwards if you ask me. You have people who give constructive criticism towards the game and the fanboys release the fangs.
Obviously this isn't an attempt to discredit SV which has yet to prove themselves, then why go to such great lengths to credit SV for their shortcomings.

There are very few constructive posts on this forum, mostly flaming.
I thought that in order to make something look bad, it had to look good first. MO never looked good in the first place. Hell, the fake video shown actually makes it look better than it was last I played (admittedly for about an hour). I want to play that game as an MMO!
Oh well, we shall see how it turns out. Either way should be entertaining.
You might find more one sided views over in the MO forums if you take issue with opposing views here.

No you're not understanding. Positive/Negative comments are fine, both can speak the truth when you have the facts.
I was commenting on the current debate on the videos and their relation of "hate" towards SV, in which I believe there is none.
I remember one of that youtube poster's videos in which he griefs a new player repeatedly, then uses that clip to show how bad the MO community is. That, combined with this latest stunt, screams "sabotage' to me... it's hard to believe someone would go to those lengths if they're neutral towards to game, or simply uninterested in it.
edit: and to be fair, just reading through this thread (and especially some of the other threadnaughts), can you not understand how one could (perhaps mistakenly) come to the conclusion that the majority of posters in this subforum have a deep dislike, bordering on contempt, for this game? Not an accurate portrayal, perhaps, but considering that MO is simply not that terrible of a game, it seems bizarre.

You can basically say the same thing about the MO forum. Seeing as I have been in alpha/beta in MO for a while, reading through MO's forum and MMORPG's, this forum does have more factual statements and also here you don't have to be worried about what SV thinks is proper for a post on their forum - Even if it's 100% factual.
We'll see what happens on D-Day (launch).
Hmm you must not be very observant in these forums. This thread alone was neutered beyond belief and some of things removed was 100% factual.
Regardless, the owner of the youtube account is indeed setting it up for use against Mortal Online. As I explained before which was deleted for no reason.
He will use the comments
"looks 100 times better than the beta, beta? almost ruined it for me" ect ect ,to say that it takes another game to get good comments on the videos.
It seems they aren't trying to discredit MO at all, or they wouldn't have used Dark Messiah, because DM looks about a million times better than the MO release client.
There's a good reason people are mad at Starvault, its because they charged for the beta client and then delayed the game a year and a half, and it STILL doesn't work.
Here's his plan as far as I can tell: force people to compare apples and oranges... specifically, a single-player / low-pop 'instanced' game - versus a non-instanced single-shard game whose combat system is designed to work with thousands of concurent players on said same server.
Of course DM is going to look better because that particular type of game can use resources that would make MMO devs cry. The youtube imposter is forcing this comparison, while denying the context of the comparison. People who just get their information from youtube comments will gripe, troll, and threaten to SUE because MO is what it is.
edit: and you're a bit late, the client's running very smoothly. Definitely playable (though I'll admit it's been a long time coming)
Really its not working? Its working pretty damn good if you ask me. Many things are coming together just as SV promised. What exactly doesn't work since you are an expert on this subject? You have nothing but an empty claim.
I agree with others in this thread. It looked as if h/e it was made an attempt to make MO look good. So I would have to say it was fan made in an attempt to make MO look better than it actually is. I am glad you guys jumped on this because it would be nice to have less misinformation out there trying to hype up MO. It is what it is and it isn't good lol.
