Kingdom Heroes Open Beta Release TODAY (June 3)

Aeria Games is having a surprise early open beta release today for Kingdom Heroes, a free mmorpg. This game takes place during China's three kingdom period and has several interesting features. One of the things I find that is quite different is the twice weekly kingdom war event. The war takes place between all three nations, so instead of a 1 on 1 nation battle, it's a 1 on 1 on 1. Starting in closed beta, people have started developing a political aspect to it. There's a lot of aligning and backstabbing of the nations that occur during the wars. Kingdom war also unlocks weapons such as ballistas, catapults, and battering rams. Even more, you can board battle ships with double digit numbers and do a sneak attack on one of a nation's ports.
