Looking for the Ultima Online Killer.
I logged into UO last week after about a 2 years of not playing, only the find that everyone seems to be gone. The bank where everyone used to hang out is abandoned, and I solo'd several dungeons from top to bottom and back again and ran into no one at all. Mind you I do see players about, but seems that most have gone. I complain about it all the time, but still keep going back over and over again.
So I'm looking for something to kill off my Ultima Online trend. I would prefer something similar, as similar as possible. I'm trying Vanguard now, and I like it, but I don't think it's the one. Then again it's only been a few hours.
Anyone have some suggestions? Tired of going back, but I can't seem to find anything else that works for me. Been 11 long UO years.

Runescape has over a million subs for some reason. I think the sub fee is like $5 a month if you decide to pay.

Eve is pretty fun if you are looking for a sandbox. If you can get past the extreme learning curve.
I hear with the last few patches that the game is more than playable once again. 1 day away to release and Star Vault really seems like they are stepping up to the plate.

Darkfall is like the new UO pre-trammel.
Highly suggest trying it out. There is a 14-day free trial right now. Funnest game around right now imo if you are into sandbox games.

after 14 days what will happen? i havent played a P2P so i dont know what and how this works ^_^
After 14 days you will have to buy the game and pay monthly for your subscription if you like it to keep playing that account.
