Hey I got a question

If I was to get Everquest 2 for Christmas and I have a really powerful computer but I have dial up internet! Would it take a long time for the patches? is there alot of patches yet? Does anyone have dial up internet here and have Everquest 2? Are the patches big yet?

yes, a dial-up internet will definately slow you down on the patches but, the game should run fine, it takes very little bandwidth to run an mmorpg. what i suggest to help you with the patches would be start them before you go to bed, work, errands...or whatever, and they are usually done whenever you wake up/get back. other than that, just pay the extra 10 or 20 bucks for dsl/cable.
