The visuals have looped twice.

Oh, now it's been nine minutes and I can play.

Not impressed.

Important facts:
1. Free to Play games are poorly made.
2. Casuals are not all idiots, but idiots call themselves casuals.
3. Great solo and group content are not mutually exclusive, but they suffer when one is shoved into the mold of the other. The same is true of PvP and PvE.
4. Community is more important than you think.

    nop, he has a point.

To be able to actually play the game u need at least 3-4gb ram, and at least 512 Ram on Video Card.

same for me.. loads and loads but once its done its all good.. for while

It shouldnt take longer then 4min(your first load might be longer). You got to remember you're loading a hole map on cache and memory.  Atleast it wasnt as bad as witcher for me.  There was a load every time you enter a house.

What kind of hard drive do you have? defragment would help with loading aswell.

wrong, I have win 7 and 2gb of ram(667hz i believe ddr2). It runs relativly smoothly.

I hope you're video card has atleast 512 of ram. Most have 1gb-2gb now adays.(I have 512mb)

I run it on 2 gigs of ram and it does take forever, but the gameplay doesnt lag at all for me.

Whenever i load into a zone I just go do something else to pass the time....make a sammich,tv,#2 and so on.

This happened to me at the beginning of KttC when I tried to join the Financial District when it was jam packed. I was stuck waiting like you did but I didn't wait until it loaded. Instead I closed the program and restarted it and tried to join the Waterfront District and it loaded up a lot quicker. Since then I haven't had crazy load times, probably because people have used up their 5 hours of Action time. I don't forsee this being a big issue on release unless every server is packed to the teeth. I also want to add that I'm running 6 gigs of RAM and 896 megs of video ram.

Yea when I first started to play during the closed beta, loading times were very long.  Sometimes I thought the game had crashed.

I've upgraded my machine now and there have been several patches, now the loading time is reasonable.. still quite long, but reasonable!

Yep thoes loading times do go on. I think it's time I updated to 3gigs of ram, I'm off down the shops...does anybody wan't anything while i'm in town?

the reason its taking you 4 minutes to load instead of 15-30 seconds is because you have 2 gigs of ddr2 ram =p

i have 4 gigs and load times are hardly noticeable to me.
