EA Screws up? C&C4 Keys Are Medal Of Honor Closed Beta Keys? (Free Keys o.O)

Final Update: All the Keys are GONE reported by many gamespot users.
Gone in under 8-hours limited time offer sorry if you didnt snatch one! for the ones who did see you in game on the 21st. unless you already own BFBC2 you get in instantly.
Important Info: If you do not own BFBC2 You will not be able to logon until June 21st 2010 - The Keys are Valid non-the-less snatch one before they go!
Note: Everything below is information, and iv just so happen to come across it and am passing it down to mmorpg.com and cannot be held responsible!

At www.gamespot.com keys to the command-conquer-4-open-beta were given out to the public by EA. except there was a problem, the key for the beta did not work reported many users. Someone decided to try the code out on the official medal of honor site and it worked and he got a free medal of honor key to the game without having to preorder.
Update #1 WARNING PS3 Choosers (USER) reported that the key is valid and he can login but can not play id SUGGEST taking PC. (CONFIRMED)
Final Update #2 - You Will NOT be able to login unless you own Battlefield Bad Company 2 well its still unconfirmed if it works even if you do own it.
Update NEW INFO: "The beta will continue as planned for the PlayStation 3 and PC," he explained. "For these platforms, the beta starts on June 21. However, players who own 'Battlefield: Bad Company 2' and have pre-ordered will be able to enter on June 17."Which means if you do NOT own battlefield Bad Company 2 you may have to wait till the 21st. (unsure if the key we have is a preordered key)

Reason: VIP error message is set for those who do not own BFBC2 - If you do own it you get to login June 17th (4-days before everyone else)

Go to http://www.gamespot.com/event/codes/command-conquer-4-open/
If not registered, do so on the GameSpot website Sign up for C&C beta and get the code.
Copy it, and go to medalofhonor.com/beta Sign in with your EA account, or register if needed.
Enter code when asked for it, choose platform you want, and submit.
The site is getting slammed. This is a limited thing so hurry up. (I myself may have snatched myself a free key beats preordering :P)

maybe I just got lucky o.O all I know is it worked the steps I put is exactly what I did and a few gamespot users are reporting that it works. :l
Once again this is just information being passed down, I'm just the messenger on what iv seen and know and only would report this to mmorpg if it was somewhat big news. XD!
Additional Info: Medal Of Honor Closed Beta was announced at E3 Est. 4-days ago and opened up Est. 2-days ago. The only way to get into the beta is to preorder the game. (at least until now)

Ok ya. It's not ur fault its theres. I'll let u know if i run into any complications so far they gave me a new key and everything so it looks legit. thx again man.
I got into the beta and chose PS3. When I log in, it says only those with Bad Company 2 VIP passes can have early access.:P
But I guess the key itself is valid, as I do have the game downloaded on the PS3 now and can at least login to the welcome screen. As to when, and if, i can actually play, I have no idea.

You can only get to the welcome screen? Bad Company 2 VIP?? they never said anything like that on EA they simple said preorder Medal of Honor then you get the key.
I chose PC....maybe choosing PC over PS3 is a better idea.

#1 - Possible the PSN is down and or the BETA for PS3 Is not up YET?

Its possible the keys we got are for June 21st maybe these are not pre-order keys this could pose a problem for both PS3 & PC users.
THOUGH no one except you has came up with this problem so it is UNCONFIRMED
Well, I just went through the hassle of making new gamespot and EA accounts to get a new key, this time for PC. It'll be downloaded in about 5 minutes, so we'll see how that goes.

So im guessing if I own BC2(which I do) and use the beta key(which I just got) im good to go from the 17th..
Odd that the BC2 web site is now down. Or for me at least it's showing "The connection has timed out . The server at www.battlefieldbadcompany2.com is taking too long to respond."

ill be waiting for that reply of success! If not were gonna have to wait till the 21st. something tells me no matter what if we do not own 'Battlefield Bad Company 2' we will not get the early June 17th VIP access. we will get the error though :P
what also concerns me is if the problem is there and stays till the 21st. EA could possibleh delete the accounts that were created within the next 3-days mehh well Ill wait on that post of failure or success! XD
Okay, installed PC the client, loaded it up, logged in with the new account, and.......same thing.

Hmm well game seems 90% like BC2 but Gfx not as sharp and a few other things. I think im just used to BC2 because damn I love that game!
Well I logged in and play acouple matches. it's sweet for a dead ip lol. I love it. alot like bc2 but kinda like mw2 at the same time.
Yeah, iv heard the death animation isn't so good as well. Welpers gonna have to wait two more days to check it out. till then ill play some 'Dead Space' ^T.T^
